Year 1
—
Sage was sorted into the house of Gryffindor. She was rather excited because Gryffindors were loyal, brave, and daring. Her family also had a history of being in Gryffindor as well, so being sorted into the house meant a lot to her."Draco Malfoy" the sorting hat calls the boy.
Just as Draco sat down, the sorting hat immediately sorted him into Slytherin before the hat could reach his head.
Draco was proud, he knew his family would be proud of him. That's all he ever cared for, was making his family proud, especially his father.
When Draco was called to the hat, he had caught Sage's eyes immediately.
Although they were only 11, Sage had already taken a liking to Malfoy's appearance.
Draco on the other hand, paid no attention to the Gryffindor, he hadn't even noticed her existence. He could care less about anyone outside of the Slytherin house.
While sitting at the Gryffindor table, a young boy by the name Harry Potter had sat next to her.
Harry noticed Sage staring at Malfoy, "I wouldn't dare make friends with him if I were you."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sage asked, confused and naive to the way Malfoy truly is.
"He thinks that some wizarding families are better than others, judgmental that one." Harry added, not giving Sage much context.

Year 2
—
Sage had saw the way Malfoy truly was. Very judgmental and rude.He bullied the other students, even Sage.
He called her a "blood traitor" more than he's said her real name.
Sage grew to dislike Malfoy, she didn't hate him, just disliked him. She was taught to never feel hatred.
Being only 12 years old, Sage was rather mature for her age.
She understood how Malfoy was programmed to be. How Malfoy is the way he is because he was taught to be that way. It wasn't really his fault.
As much as Sage wanted to steer clear from Malfoy, it was rather difficult being friends with Potter. Malfoy always had it out for Potter and his friends.

Year 3
—
As another year came along, Draco was the same, maybe even ruder. He still called Sage a blood traitor and picked on her and her friends. However, it wasn't a constant thing, just rude remarks here and there.
Sage grew to dislike Malfoy even more, yet still found no hatred towards him.
She did however hate the way she was attracted to him. She disliked his personality but still found his appearance to be attractive. How is that logical?
She also never liked the fact that she couldn't stand up for herself and her friends.
But Sage knew to just ignore Malfoy to the best of her ability.
—
Year 4
—
Year 4 came and Malfoy was still just as arrogant and rude as last year. Something that didn't surprise Sage. This year however was different, Malfoy only picked on Potter.
Not so much a care to give Sage a hard time.
She was irrelevant to him at this time.
—
Year 5
—
This year was way different than the last.Malfoy had been apart of The Inquisitorial Squad.
The squad were all slytherins, and slytherins being slytherins, they used their power against the students they disliked. Meaning students other than slytherins.
The squad was formed to ensure Professor Umbridge's orders.
The Inquisitorial Squad spent their time taking points away from the other houses.
With Malfoy being apart of the squad, Sage had now despised him.
Malfoy would dock points from Gryffindor just because he wanted to and of course Sage wasn't happy about that.
Malfoy docked points from them because Hermione was a "mud blood" and because Ron's shirt had been untucked.
Sage chimed in, "You know Malfoy, you're being rather unreasonable right now"
"You know Arden, you should learn how to keep your filthy blood traitor mouth of yours shut" Malfoy snapped back.
Sage didn't respond, instead she simply rolled her eyes, not wanting to bicker much more.
