Exhaustion, Weariness and Tiredness. That's how I felt after what happened. Ghost called a meeting in cafeteria and we all went there. I buried my face in my hands as I listened to the crying sentences she spit out. "-and Loki just shows up and murders Foxxie." She says shakingly breathing in. "Further there is a murderer among us and the finales are getting close," Ghost cried out loud. "I don't get the Loki thing either, but we can't do anything Ghost," Waffle unsteadily exclaimed under his breath. Bagle turns to me. These five days I got to know him, he had a personality of I don't care, but I saw in his eyes that he was scared. "Vaz, what happened? You saw it," he asked bluntly. "Loki has been mutilated into a hunter and broke Foxxie's hand, then slit her Throat." I say monotone. It stays quiet in the group. "So, if we die, we get turned into a cyborg?" Birb asks to no one. I stand up and walk away. When entering the hallway, I turn around and face the other four. "Yes," I say and walk to my dorm. I don't want anything less than sleep. I just want to sleep and wake up and this is all a dream. I want it to stop. I want to escape this cursed place. The next day I shun and avoid everyone. I eat breakfast for myself and hide in my dorm. Birb tried to come in, asking me for permission but I want to be alone. I just don't want to socialize on this point. I have been reading those two diaries I have found over and over, trying to figure out what was going on. I had dismantled the chalkboard from the classroom and took it to my dorm and made notes on it.
I got so sick of everything. I threw my drawer against the wall and I pulled out my hair. This game is driving me nuts, I joked to myself. It was sooner than I thought 14.00, and we collected at the plaza. Birb tried to talk to me, but I made a stop sign with my hand. "Not now," I kindly said to her with my most dead voice. She smiled and nodded. We went into the game room, to play the second-last game before the finales. I felt myself getting anxious at the word finales. Who knows what the host had planned. We walk in and get greeted by the host we all so love, with his curly black hair and the most fake grin he can force. The room is like a class room, with five tables with paper on them. I feel myself getting anxious. "Hello welcome by Secret School Code Crazy!" He says with the old booming voice. "Yeah that name is just bad," Bagle says with the most annoyed voice I have heard from it. The host narrows his eyes and lifts his chin. "Okay Bagle," the host spits. "We will see how good you do then," The host turns around and grabs a paper from the desk that is standing there and lays it on Bagles table. "Go sit on your belonging table!" We nod and go sit at our own table. I look at the paper, it are just random numbers. "If we caught you cheating, you get an extra paper," the host says hypocritically sweet.
"It's basically a secret code, if you think you cracked go to the desk and say "I cracked it," or something. If you have it wrong, you are disqualified. Goodluck!" He says. I begin looking down at the numbers. How the fuck can you find a secret message in this? After a minute looking at this I see Birb writing fast as hell. She is going to win this, I thought to myself. I shrug, she deserves it. After another two minutes just looking at the damn numbers Birb stands up and shows the host her answer. He nods. "That's correct!" He says, sounding kind of confused that she got it so fast. Birb smiles. The host looks at us four. "Goodluck at night!" He says fake smiling. I hear Bagle throwing over his desk and furiously walking away, with Waffle hurrying behind him. I begin walking next to Birb. "What did it say?" I asked her. She began laughing to herself. "The murderer of Photon is still in the game," I widen my eyes. "Well it isn't me," I nervously tell her. She laughs. "It is Waffle, Bagle or Ghost." Birb says.
I nod. "We will see," I say. I breath out a bit shaky. I was scared for tonight. I had a big chance of dying and I don't know if that locker spot is such good idea to go in. Me and Birb walk to the chill room, but before we go into the room, I put my hand on her shoulder and stop her. I look at the newspaper room, a room nobody's really in, and I see a vent. "I have an idea," I whisper to Birb. I grab her hand and we walk to the vent. "This one is tight," I say. Birb smiles and grabs a kitchen knife from under her dress. "Try unscrewing with this," she suggest. I nod and it indeed works. "I will go first," I offer and I crawl into the vent, with Birb following me. Its a long vent and cold vent. My knees began to hurt and it was quite exhausting. After a minute of crawling in complete darkness, I see light. "I think I see the end," I say. Birb yelps and I look through the vent. I widen my eyes. "Birb, dont make a sound," I whisper quietly to her.
It's the death room. It's just like the newspaper room. No painting and concrete floor and walls. There stood the three hunters deactivated. At least, they seemed to be deactivated. I'm not taking any risks. I look further and I gasp. There, in the corner of the dead room, 3 dead bodies layed there. Photon's body was transferred I see, with his blue overal stained with blood and the knife still in place. Foxxie's body was there too with blood dried up at her throat. I began to shiver. And next to Foxxie layed Bey. Her neck had been cut open too. On a kind of operation table layed half a body. Some kind of metallic arms were attached to it and wires stuck out of his belly. I immeadiately knew who it was. It was Yoda
"What are they doing to him," Birb asks to me, on the verge of crying. I layed my hand on her shoulder. "Birb, leave your emotions for Yoda out of this. He is dead, and the host is going to use your emotions to get you killed." I saw Birb close her eyes and then nod. "You're right, I need to survive this." I smile and she hugs me. I awkwardly hug back and spend the evening watching the news and a horror movie. Around 23.00 Birb got ordered to go to her dorm. I gave her the diaries and the chalkboard and she would theorize further. Me, Waffle, Bagle and Ghost stood at the plaza wishing each other goodluck. And then the lights turn off.
The night has begun
