Day 2 (part 2)

I walk out of class with big angry steps. My long trench coat waves behind me as I search for a specific person. I look at the lockers. "Bea, Kianna, Bey..." I whisper underneath my breath. "Also known as the immigrants." I say to no one in specific, as I scan off the school hallway. I just need to find the three. She is always among them.

"So yeah, Photon invited everyone to the beach party. I can't waaaaait to go!" I hear one of them say. "Oh same Vaz, I can't wait to go there. Ima buy a special dress for this occasion!" I cringe at the sound of the conversation. I walk up to them and I see her stand there. My ex girlfriend. She wears a yellow jacket and a grey striped skirt. Yellow socks going above her knee. She wears her tail in a ponytail with a big yellow bow around it. Her friends imitate her look, with the left one in blue and the right one in red

She looks at me under her thick lashes. She raises her head and looks at me with disgust. "Yoda? What the fuck are you doing here. We broke up, remember?" She says with a fake smile. I nervously look at my surroundings while trying to find my words. "Birb, can we just, can we talk?" She looks at her friends one for one. Loki just narrows her eyes and smiles mischeavious and Vaz just nods. "Fuck off Yoda, we broke up. Next time don't be such a creep. I'm raising my standards." She says while looking at her polished nails

I feel my hands shake. "What happenend to you," I say while my voice is shaking. I see a flash of a real person under her eyes before she puts up her bully role. "Better ask yourself that, C'mon Loki and Vaz, let's get away from this creep." She turns around and the two follow her. They walk out of school and i'm just standing there. Lost. "fuck this school," I say to myself. I feel fury bubbling inside of me. My jaw is clenched and im pinching myself.

"This school has ruined my life." I say. I grab my phone and see if Birb hasn't blocked me yet. She hasn't. I breath in. I feel in my pocket to the one thing that can ruin it all. I search in my other pocket for a lighter. When I see the red plastic case I begin to text Birb.

I jump out of my bed, shocked. I feel sweat dripping from my forehead and my back is sweaty. I rub my forehead and stroke through my messy hair. I feel despair rising in my chest. "Fuck," I whisper underneath my breath. The dream was so, weird. There was a school and Loki, Birb and Vaz were dressed weirdly. I shrug it off and step out of bed. Sitting on the bed, I bury my face in my hands. I breath slowly in my hands, warming them up.

After some minutes, I walk out of the dorms. My feet echo over the empty plaza and I look at the time. The game is about to start soon. I walk to the chill room. Only Bagle and Waffle are there. When I walk in, they look shocked and scared, if I caught them doing something. "You guys okay?" I say with a hoarse and raspy voice. They look at each other with an emotion I can't see, and Waffle nods. "Yeah," He says simply. I shrug my shoulders and begin to watch the boring horror movie. Waiting for the loud alarm to sound.

I was just at the part of the romance scene, which I cringed at, when the alarm sounded. I slowly stood up and walked to the plaza. It was weird not having Birb with me and I stood there as an introvert. After a minute everyone stood there and the doors to the game hall dramatically openend. I looked at Birb before we walked in, she looked scared. Her blue beautiful eyes were fixated on the doors.

We get welcomed by a young man. He has black curly hair and a suit. He greets us energetic. "Welcome to locked up!" He boomed through the room. The room was this time not happy and exciting. It was a grey and beige room, with ten cages in them. The cages where around two meters big, they were made of iron metal and looked ominous in the low light the lamps produced. In the cages were objects laying, I couldn't see what kind of objects.

"This time you guys are locked up. You have to find the right five keys to escape the cage. The one that finds the right five keys first and escapes the cage wins and get's safety! Goodluck!"

The man leads us to the cages, mine is next to Birb and Waffle's. The floor is cold, I feel myself shivering and I let out a cold breath. I look at the keys, they all have different measures and sizes. There are pink plastic keys and stone black keys. When everyone is in their cage, we all look at the man waiting for the start signal. "Go!" he screeches.

I have no tactic; I just grab random keys and stick them in the lock. Some keys are sharp and make thin cuts in the soft flesh. After a minute I can't remember which keys I did and which not. There were so many keys, more than a hundred. I begin to panic. I just grab random keys and sloppily stick them in the lock. I see keys I remember and I can't throw them away as they are on one giant chain. I feel myself giving up, we are just two minutes in before we hear a door opening. We all look up to the sound in sync.

Waffle stands there with the padlocks in his hand, he smiles tiredly. "Ya boy did it," He says with a sigh. He stands there unbalanced, his head moving forth and back. Waffle looks at the host and tries to walk to him, but he passes out and with a loud bang, his body and the floor meet each other.

It's evening, we are all eating dinner together. I sit next to Photon and Bagle. Birb is at the end of the table, being comforted by Vaz. Vaz gives me a glance of hatred before rubbing comforting patterns on Birbs back.

I scoff a swear under my breath to her before turning to the conversation Photon has with the others. "To be honest, I shouldn't be whining about this but being in my room locked up was boring and I hated it." Photon laughs and shakes his head. "I hate the feeling of not knowing what is going on," The others nod agreeing. "I get that," Bagle says. "Same," Waffle almost whispers, being a bit shaky. I keep quiet. Right now, I don't feel like talking. I look at Birb for a second, I frown sadly at her sight. Tried getting eye contact with her, but Vaz almost killed me with her look when she saw me. I bit my lip in anger and focussed, again, on the conversation.

You know the deal, at around 23.00 Waffle was ordered to go to his dorm. He gave Bagle a kiss and whispered something into Bagle's ear. The whole group was shocked, but kept quiet. Waffle left the scene and we looked each other's all in the eye.

I looked at Birb, even when we "broke up", I wanted to protect her. I felt fury bubbling in me.

This game isn't going to take her away from me.
