I love the guys and Asia but I couldn't stand to be around them for the time being. I've been here for literally a month and things are already hella crazy. I walk outside and look around when I look up and see Art standing on the edge of the building, my heart beats quickly, Art isn't the type to... Jump... Is he? I stare up at him for a good 3 minutes before he finally looks down at me. The sun is in my eyes so I'm not too sure what was going down between us.
"Hey." I advert my attention to Jude.
"Hi." I look back up quickly, no longer seeing Art. I look back at Jude. "What are you doing here?"
"Why do you wanna be alone?" My heart skips a beat.
"To be honest, being alone with you seems better." Jude laughs lightly.
"What a bold thing to say." I can't help but laugh when he says that.
"Sorry."
"Don't be." Jude and I smile at each other and laugh again awkwardly. "So wanna walk?" I nod and we turn around to walk, but not before looking back up at the top of the school building again. No Art.
"Can I ask you a serious question?"
"Of course." I stop and turn to him. He looks down at me with a serious expression.
"What would you do if you found out something bad about someone you're friends with?" Im not too sure of this is about Art or Sam... But either way I could use the advice.
"Well, if it was a close friend, I'd ask if it's true."
"And if they won't tell me?"
"Time." Art... This is the answer for Art... "Eventually, if you're persistent enough in telling them you care and won't judge them, they'll be comfortable enough to tell you." My heart skips a beat and I can't help but smile.
"You're a really good guy Jude."
"The total opposite actually. That's why I'm here."
"I don't think you're a bad guy whatsoever." Jude smiles lightly. "Can I ask you something else?"
"Sure." My heart instantly lodges into my throat.
"Your first kiss. What are you waiting for?" Jude scans my face.
"I'm not too sure myself to be honest."
"Then why keep waiting?"
"Why are you so bold today?" Jude asks with a smile. My heart stops.
"Maybe because I'm tired of waiting too. Not for my first kiss but my first kiss with you." Jude steps closer.
"So what are you asking?" It's really hard to find my voice.
"I'm too embarrassed to say it." I whisper. Jude smiles lightly.
"I'm not too sure what you're asking."
"You're an ass."
"And you're the sass." After that, Jude grabs my face and kisses me. His kisses are different than Art's... I think... I like Jude's more... I step closer to Jude and wrap my arms around his neck as Jude slides his hands to my waist pulling me close. He deepens the kiss and I don't complain, but of course someone does.
"Whoa." Jude and I pull away from the kiss to see Asia and Peter wide-eyed. "Our bad." Asia says and grabs Peter's hand and walks away. I look back up at Jude, both of us are obviously blushing.
"Sorry." I whisper as I pull away. "I should get my stuff for my next class." I turn to walk away when I feel Jude grab my hand and pull me to him again. One arm around my waist and one hand cupping my cheek, he kisses me again and just like the first time, I kiss back eagerly. 'Stay Innocent Opal'. I pull away reluctantly and then luckily the bell rings. Saved by the bell has never been more true. "I gotta go." Jude gives me a soft kiss and let's me go.
