Dream's POV-
I wake up to someone knocking on the front door, I looked at the clock, 4 am?? Why would anyone be here at 4 am??
I sigh and quickly but quietly get out of George's arms, they knocked again
"Coming!" I whisper-yelled not wanting to wake George
I walked over and opened it,
"Hel-" I cut myself off
I sat there looking around.. no one? That's strange.?
"Is anyone out there?" I asked confused and a little annoyed
I huff and close the door gently slightly annoyed that I was woken up by someone who knocked and bolted at 4 am, or whoever they were, probably a village kid.
Since I was already up I couldn't go back to sleep, I sighed in an annoyed tone and walked over to the kitchen to get a snack
I opened the cupboard and saw a bowl of apples, so I reached up grabbed one but not long after I had it in my possession I felt something touch my shoulder, out of instinct I dropped it making the bowl fall over and apples going everywhere,
"Omg George you scared me half to death!" I shouted slightly
"Dream, why are you yelling??" He said in a very sleepy tone...wait...
I turned around to see George on the couch, what!?
"George??" I asked surprised and confused
"Yeah dream.?" He sounds just as confused
"Weren't you just over here?"
"No? I woke up just now because of a loud thud and you yelling my name?"
"W-what??" I say slightly stuttering
"What's wrong Dream?"
"I don't know...I guess I'm a little freaked out I guess."
"Why are you up at 4 am anyways?" He says staring at me concerned
"I-I um..." I stuttered a little trying to think of what to say
"...nightmare?" I try to sound genuine but George knows my lying voice, but I was seriously hoping he couldn't tell
"Oh..I see" he seemed to not be believing it whats so ever
"Dream?" he says a little bit after the silence
"Yeah?"
"Can you tell me why you're actually awake?" He asked genuinely
"Ah fuck.." I muttered under my breath
"Uhm...well okay..there was a knock at the door and I answered it but no one was there and it made me a little annoyed"
"Oh..at 4 am?"
"Yeah I was surprised too"
"Do you also want to explain why you dropped the apples and yelled my name?"
"Uh, you scared me...or well I thought you did."
"How did you get scared?"
"I thought you...touched my shoulder, so I got startled"
"Oh, well that's weird because I didn't"
"Yeah it's just been a really weird morning I don't know why."
"Well since I don't think either of us can go back to sleep what do you want to do?"
"Uhm well I was just about to get a snack so maybe we could both get a snack and watch the 7th Harry Potter movie?"
