When 2 Worlds Collide

Chapter 3

There was  movie that was going to come out called 'Love, Simon', and both of the girls was going. One of them was aware that the other was going to be there while the other is completely clueless.

Toni's POV:

Today Sweet Pea, Fangs, and I have planned to go to a movie after school. I actually didnt want to go but I didnt have anything else to do so why not. I suddenly asked the most random questions and it slipped out so fast I couldnt catch it.

"Red gonna be there?"

"Red?" said Fangs

"Cheryl... Cheryl Blossom."

"Ohhhhh, that red." said Sweet Pea

"Yeah, so, is she."

"Yeah, she is. Why? Do you like her?" said Sweet Pea as Fangs gave me a side eye.

"Ummmm..... no why would you say that?!" I said nervously.

"Just asking." as Sweet Pea and Fangs exchanged looks and started giggling.

I got tired of them so I rolled my eyes and I walked away. As I was walking to my motorcycle, I was thinking about Cheryl, I'm just going to say Bombshell. I couldnt shake her off my mind.

Even when I was on my bike, she was the only thing on my mind. And I was off for school.

Cheryl's POV:

Today before leaving out, I had my usual talk with Jason before we left the house. I guess Jason could tell something was on my mind because she started to question me.

"Hey sis, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just think about this girl at school."

"Who is the lucky woman?"

"Ummmm... lets not Jay please. But, her name is supposedly Toni... Toni Topaz."

"Oh, the new girl? Well, give her a chance, go easy a little bit. Not too easy, you cant look like a simp." Jason said as he chuckled and stuffed food down his esophagus.

"I guess I'll give her a chance. I wonder if she'll be at the movies tonight, probably not, its probably not her thing."

"But we'll see. If she gives up, you have to buy me strawberry milkshakes for a month. If she finds he way to my broken heart, then I owe you a months worth of vanilla milkshakes. Deal?"

Without hesitation, Jason quickly answered.

"Deal!! Topaz, knock her off her feet. I need a win for once."

Jason's the best, he's understanding and actually listens to me despite the bad things Penelope had said to me. I have a hard life. I'm not accepted by my mom fully and it's hard to explore myself because I tend to feel like I'm holding back.

Jason gives me an outlet to where I can talk and actually feel like myself, embrace who I truly am. I cant believe how it would be if Jason didnt approve of me either, my world would come to an end. That's why I'm so stubborn, I put my walls up because I dont want to get judged. But this Topaz girl, shes different. I'm still going to be cautious, but she seems different.

Later on that day, the 2 girls saw each other in the halls and Toni would give small smiles while Cheryl would roll her eyes but would slightly blush when she was far away from the pink haired girl.
