Chapter 11

Fast forward to Thursday. It's the first day of trial. Toni's second time and Cheryl's first. The word got around fast given Riverdale being the small town that it is.

Cheryl's POV:

It was Thursday and it was our first day in trial. I woke up to Toni admiring my face and playing with my hair. She smiled and I returned it. I cant believe that she had ti go through what she went through. I can't imagine her mindset right now. She deserves better, we both deserve better.

Our lives isnt perfect and we both know that. But, all that matters is that we have each other. Shes the love of my life and theres no one who will ever take her place. No matter how much we argue, I dont care. I love her. Her love for me is eternal.

"Hey babe. How you feeling?"

"Its depressing to say the least but, I'll get through it as long as you're by my side."

"I know it's hard, especially since you've went before and they didnt believe you. If you didnt know, this is my first time going to trial about this."

"Wait, you didnt go to trial for what he did to you? Why?"

"I didnt want to do it because I didnt want the sympathy. I didnt feel like people coming up to me hugging me, feeling bad for me. I'm the 'head of the class', I have to come off 'strong'."

"Cher, you understand what haooend wasnt supposed to happen right?"

"Yes of course."

"Then you shouldnt have been worried about the sympathy, you needed it. You needed it to be known that everyone goes through things to. Even as the HBIC of Riverdale High. I wish I came sooner, so that I could've been there for you."

"You're here now, and that's all that matters. But, about not speaking up. People see me as this heartless person and whenever something happens and I speak about it, they think I'm being overdramatic."

"Well, they shouldn't think like that, they should know everyone goes through things. And that everyone's life isn't perfect. No matter how much power or money you have and especially because of that. You grew up in a life that was automatically in the spotlight. You couldnt control that, you cant control that."

"I know. It's okay now. I'm going to be okay."

"You have me. You need anything you have me and the boys. Okay?"

"Okay. Let's get dressed for this long day ahead of us."

"Okay."

I got up grabbed what I needed and went to the bathroom. Of course I didnt lock it because why should I?
When I turned the shower on I let the water run on my face and through my hair. Then I felt warm hands on my shoulders, i turned around and it was no other than Toni. She hugged me as we let the water run over us.

She rubbed shampoo in my hair as I rubbed shampoo in hers. We got washed off and dried off. We brushed our teeth and got each others outfits out.

I got her out a pink, blue, black, and orange plaid 2 piece. The bottom was a skirt and the top was a square neck tank top. She worse sheer stockings and her combat boots that were here. (when I go shopping, I always buy her stuff)
