It was now Sunday and it was 1 more day before the girls planned to see each other. The 2 girls had anticipation within them the entire weekend. They couldn't wait to see each other. But little did they know, it was going to be earlier than they expected.

Cheryl's POV:

I woke up at about 11:30 am, and normally I wake up around 10:00 but I didnt really care because I didn't have anything to do. When I got out of bed, I did my normal and went to go get breakfast. As I walked downstairs I didnt hear anyone so I thought I was down there by myself. I heard a phone ring which indicated someone was downstairs. After the phone rung twice, it stopped. Then, I heard a loud crash.

I ran towards the kitchen to find my mom standing there with a bowl of fruit, a knife, and her phone lying on the ground beside her.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

She just had a blanks stare. As she was staring, tears quickly formed in her eyes. I heard a voice coming from her phone so I picked it up.

"Mrs. Blossom, you still there?"

I decided to speak.

"This is her daughter Cheryl, Cheryl Blossom. How may I help you?"

"I was calling to inform your mom that your father passed away yesterday and  was wondering when she'll like to do a will reading."

After he said my dad died, all his words after were mumbled. I couldn't believe it. Was he really dead? I heard him ask me one more time and I had to quickly answer.

"Ms. Blossom? When will you like to do a will reading?"

"Umm... do you think that it's possible for us to call back with a day?"

"Yeah, sure. Just make sure you let me know before next week is out."

"Okay, thank you."

"No problem. Sorry for your loss."

When we hung up, me and my mom stood in silence. We stood in shock as tears flowed out of our eyes. That's when Jason started to come down the steps. He walked towards the kitchen instantly worried.

"Is everything okay in here?"

It took me a minute to answer.

"Ummm... our attorney called."

"What for?"

"He called to let us know that uhhh.. d-dad  he umm... d-died yesterday."

As I looked up at Jason, he was completely shocked. I looked over at my mom and she was still crying. I never knew how much she loved dad until today. I questioned her love for him the very first time I saw and heard her with another guy, while he was son a business trip.

Then, I thought about Jason. Him and dad didnt have the best relationship. But, regardless of his relationship with dad, when he left it's as if a part of him left. I couldnt imagine what he must be feeling or thinking because me and dad had a strong bond just like Jason and mom.

Jason looked back at both of us and pulled is in for a hug as we cried on his shoulder. While we cried on his shoulder, he cried on both of ours. That was the first time we've had a sentimental moment like that in a very long time.

"Its okay, we're going to get through this."

After the sentimental hug, we went our separate way in the house. I stayed in my room and cried for an hour and felt the need to get out and clear my head. I didnt know where to go, so I found myself getting dressed for Pop's. With all of this going on, the only person I'd hoped to see was Toni. I got dressed, hopped in my car, and drive to Pop's.
