Chapter 5: Dinner Pt. 2

Manhattan, New York:

"Alright so we had this idea that we could get drafted together to the same team if we created a legacy early." Amari explained

"And we did we the best in the country statics wise." Armani added

"With no championships under y'all belt. Y'all gotta include the team, they not gone allow that shit in college." Will explained

"Colleges everywhere want them, they gone do whatever my sons want." Amir replied

"I'm sorry you coach basketball for a livin big bruh?" Will asked like he was amused, that made Robin and Justice chuckle.

"You tryina be funny?" Amir asked

"Dad chill ion need spit in my pasta." Angelica said making everybody bust out laughing as she covered her plate. "Say it don't spray it, thank you." She added making them laugh harder, she didn't even crack a smile and that's what made it even more hilarious. Amir forgot why he was mad he was laughing so hard. "Anyways, Justice owns a clothing line she made the team uniforms." She changed the subject.

"Oh yeah?" Will asked looking over at Justice, and she nodded. She wasn't talking much, she didn't want Amir to be mad at her.

"We got so many different uniforms it's crazy, she the team mom. She be at all the practices, the whole team love moms." Amari bragged making Justice smile.

"Yeah she damn near a coach, they listened to her more than coach Jonny at practice." Armani added chuckling.

"Well I look forward to them practices." Will's flirtatious tone pissed Amir off all over again. He just took a deep breath, he would handle him later. Will wouldn't be a problem after tonight if Amir had anything to do with it.

"I think Will is great for you Justice." Robin said as she ate her food. Robin knew Will would give Justice the backbone she needed. Justice was a sweetheart, and when she found out about Justice she tried so hard to want to fight her but she couldn't. She could see why Amir was stuck on her, no matter how much they disliked each other Justice never crossed the line in front of her kids. Justice never spoke ill of Robin to her sons, in fact she encouraged them to respect Robin and get to know her. She made sure they knew gay Robin was family and was to always be respected.

They had some weird understanding, they never wanted their kids to hate each other. Justice didn't want her sons to hate Robin, and Robin didn't want her daughters to hate Justice. Armani and Amari went to Robin about things they wouldn't talk to Justice about, and Angelica and Alizé went to Justice about things they wouldn't talk to Robin about. They tried really hard to never involved the kids in the hate they had for each other.

"You don't even know this clown." Amir said to Robin and she back hand slapped him in the mouth.

"Fuck up Amir Martinez Davis, you really workin my fuckin nerves." Robin gritted and he placed his hand over his mouth not even bothering to look at anybody. He kept his mouth shut, Robin rolled her eyes. "Sorry about my husband Will, it won't happen again."

"It's no problem, he right y'all did just meet me today. I gotta prove myself so I ain't about it." Will shrugged trying to be understanding, if Amir wanted to play ball then Will would play ball.
