Aelin
I had to hand it to the kid, he was funny. A while ago he started to tell me about his first Starfall. Starfall was a holiday-like celebration when star-like things shoot through the sky.
"But they're not actually stars! They're spirits, and on the first Starfall that I can remember, Uncle Cassian, Uncle Azriel and dada took me flying, because my wings," he gestured to his back where leathery, bat-like, wings were, "weren't strong enough. It was like I was one of the spirits!" He turned to look at a shop that sold very expensive looking jewels.
"I need to get one for Aunty Amren," he said and sped off. Leisurely, I walked to the shop he was in. I could see in the window that he had already picked out TWO beautiful pieces. Obviously, he was getting the bill sent to his parents because that could not be cheap. As I got within five metres of the door, wings blocked my view.
"What have you done with Owen?" Cassian whispered menacingly, siphons, as he calls them, blazing, ready to kill.
Rowan
"So do you know what you're doing?" I asked for the hundredth time. I couldn't help it. We had already lost Aelin, and Fenrys was an asset to our court, plus, he was like a brother to me.
"Yes, go to the other world, kick some ass," I gave him a pointed look, "if necessary! Grab Aelin and be back here as soon as possible." I gave him a nod. It had been a whole week before we 'fool proofed' the plan. We had to go over it multiple times because we kept finding books on wyrdmarks, and wanted to see if there was any way where Fenrys could get back up, which was sadly a no, but he insisted that he could do it alone.
"Goodluck boyo," I clapped him on the back, which he returned. He nodded to everyone goodbye. As he kneeled down to cut his hand to make the wydmark, I got my hopes up, yet again about seeing my fireheart again. Without another word, Fenrys disappeared in a flash.
"He'll be okay, right?" Lysandra asked.
"I hope so." Was my only answer.
Aelin
I jumped back, not expecting the Illyrian warrior to come out of nowhere. He looked angry, but all I could do was laugh.
"I did nothing to him," I said, wiping a tear away from laughter.
"Shit woman! This is not funny, whatever you did to him, everyone who is anyone will see the target on your back. Everyone adores the kid!" Cassian explained quickly while wildly looking around.
"Oh my gods! The kid woke me up and wanted to go 'solstice shopping' for you guys, I didn't kidnap him!" He looked at me incredulously. "If you don't believe me turn your hulking ass around and see for yourself."
Sure enough, Owen was running up to us with a huge smile plastered on his face. He was carrying two parcels, so simultaneously running, he was trying not to trip. The generals face automatically lit up. He grabbed Owen and swung him up into his arms.
"Hey buddy, did you ask Aelin to take you shopping?" I rolled my eyes at that. Even after last night they still didn't trust me. I mean I couldn't blame them. If someone came to Terrasen from another world, I would be keeping a close eye on them.
"Uh-huh!" Owen said, shaking me out of my daze, "and you have to leave so I can buy your present!"
"Why don't you go with mama or dada sometime else? I need Aelin for..." He trailed off, obviously trying to get me away from the kid, "helping Amren with a puzzle! It's really hard for her." For the. second time in one minute, I rolled my eyes.
"Can it wait? Pleeeaaassse? Amren can solve any puzzle!" I almost pitied Cassian for the look Owen was giving him. After 10 seconds, Cassian looked defeated.
"Fiiinne! Fine, how long will you be?" The question was obviously aimed at me, but I waited for the young Illyrian/ Fae to answer.
"That's a secret!" Owen said, so he turned to me.
"I don't know the city, so, two hours or so?" I said the answer more as a question, but he nodded.
"We'll be waiting for you at home." He said to Owen, but I could hear the threat loud and clear. 'You better bring him home or there'll be hell to pay.'

Two and a half hours later we walked through the door of their estate, laughing at a joke Owen told, both of our arms and hands were filled with bags when I see that Mor and Feyre were sitting by the door. They stand up, looking at us warily when the ten-year-old breaks the silence.
"We went shopping!" He said happily.
"I can see that," Feyre said dryly. I was about to explain that I only got dragged along when there was a blinding flash of light. I looked at the thing when the light subsided.
My breath hitched.
I broke into a sob.
Fenrys was here, and I ran straight into his arms.
"Fenrys," I say into his shoulder. He was shaking as well like he was also trying to repress tears.
"Hey," He said, leaning back to look at me. "Where the hell have you been? Its been a week!"
"I-" I tried to say, but Mor cut me off
"Sorry to break up you guys' reunion," she interrupted, "but who the hell are you?"
