They say to love the skin your in
They don't understand that mine feels foreign
What do you do when there is
A mismatch between outside and in
Do you change the outside
With colours, creams, powders, and dye
that smear to the touch
Do you change the inside
with books, lectures and wishing if only...
Quietly experiencing the feeling of a different die
First impressions are important they say
The first impression
is always outside
Not in
Does that mean I tell a little lie
Every first impression
They say to love the skin your in
Ok...
What about the fat
And the marks
The moles
Or my crooked nose
What do they have say about those?
