Initially, I had planned on making Avelyn the snow queen to replace Jadis.

Later I just felt like that's a position Avelyn wouldn't want to take after everything Jadis put them through.

Anyway, here's the deleted/unpublished chapter of what Avelyn's coronation would've looked liked.

Ps. Her coronation was at Jadis's castle, a day AFTER the Pevensies were coronated.

Avelyn fumbled with her long blue gown as she waited outside the doors of the throne room impatiently.

Her hair cascaded down her shoulders and her dress glimmered in the light reflecting off the icy walls of the castle.

She'd chosen to wear a blue instead of the white one Jadis usually wore.

"You're going to ruin your dress if u keep doing that you know"

The girl turned to see Edmund standing in the hallway with his arms crossed over his chest, his silver crown gleaming amidst his brown hair.

He looked sharp in his deep blue coat and black trousers.

Avelyn quickly let go of the fabric of her dress that she was twisting in between her fingers.

"Are the others here?" She asked Edmund who nodded in approval

"You don't have to do anything" the boy rolled his eyes "Aslan does all the talking while you just need to stand there and look pretty"

"So you think I look pretty?"

"Wh- no i-" Edmund huffed in annoyance as his colour rose to his cheeks "I'm going to join the others"

Avelyn chuckled to herself as she saw the boy open the door ever so slightly and slip inside the throne room.

After a few more minutes the door slowly swung open and everyone's eyes were on her.

Avelyn wasn't used to getting so much attention and she honestly didn't like any of it, it was a bit too overwhelming.

Making sure to keep her eyes fixed on Aslan, she walked across the room holding her dress up a bit so she wouldn't trip.

As Edmund had mentioned, all she had to do what stand and look at the crowd while Aslan did all the talking.

"...and I believe that she will rule with wisdom and compassion" Aslan finished "I give you, Queen Avelyn of the north"

Oreius went up to the girl with a crown in his hand.

The girl bent down slightly, even though she didn't need to since the centaur was quiet taller than her.

Oreius gently placed the crystal white crown on her head and bowed down slightly with a smile.

A bright light surrounded the girl as swirls of blue whisps danced around her. She could see a few snowflakes swirling around her.

The edges of her blue dress faded into a silver, creating a sort of ombre. A thin, see through, long silvery cloak appeared to be draped over her shoulders.

The light slowly faded away leaving Avelyn looking like a snow queen, with few slow flakes still in her hair.

"Long live Queen Avelyn!" Susan called out with a proud smile

"Long live Queen Avelyn!" Everyone present began to chant causing Avelyn to blush slightly.

She turned to Alsan and took a few steps toward him.

"Are you sure I'll make a good queen?" She asked.

The lion smiled warmly

"I already know you'll be one of the very best"
