As Julie cried, Alex stepped forwards to give her a hug, though Luke stopped him, shaking his head. The four ghosts then teleported outside.
"Oh, dude, why'd you stop me?" Alex questioned. "Julie needs a hug."
Could he even hug her? Wouldn't she just go through them?
"Bro, a ghost hug isn't the feel-good moment that you think it is, all right?" Luke told him as he sorted his sleeveless hoodie. "Trust me. What Julie needs right now is just a bit of privacy."
"You know what? I think you poofed us out because you can't handle when people cry." Alex snapped. "I should know!" He added before Luke could argue. "I cried in a room for twenty-five years, and I didn't get a single hug from either of you!"
"All right, bring it in." Reggie said, moving towards the blond with open arms.
"Don't touch me!" Alex said loudly, which made Cory give him a confused look.
"This is why no one hugs you." Reggie said quietly before looking down, slightly disappointed.
Cory placed an arm around his bandmates shoulder, the slightly shorter boy doing the same.
"Ok." Luke said, staring at Alex. "I think the first thing we should do, once we get the courage to go in there, is ask Julie... why she lied about playing piano."
"Yeah, you know, maybe tell her how amazing she is." Alex added as the gate opened.
"Yeah, course, bro." Luke nodded.
"Ok." Alex said, knowing Luke wouldn't actually listen.
"She's legit." Reggie said. "I got ghost bumps." He turned to Cory. "What about you?"
The Winchester gave a thumbs up with a soft smile. He still hated that he couldn't use his words to describe anything.
A girl walked passed them, sobbing quietly as she entered the studio.
"Oh, my god. Was she crying too?" Alex asked.
"Yes!" Luke said, worry on his face. "And the only thing scarier than one girl crying, is two girls crying!"
Alex turned to Cory and Reggie, nodding as he said, "He's right."
"Guys, we definitely can't go in there." Luke said as Cory removed his arm from Reggie's shoulders.
"But we can listen!" Reggie stated.
Cory shook his head as the boy headed to the studio door, Luke and Alex following.
But Cory gave in, following his bandmates over to listen.
"Carlos told me you'd be out here." The girl said, walking towards Julie. As she looked up from the piano, the boys ducked down to not be seen in the windows. "We need to talk."
"Are you ok?" Julie asked.
"No! I'm not ok!" The girl responded. "You just got kicked out of music! I've been up all night thinking about what I was gonna say. Might've drank seven sodas, but... I need to get this out."
"Woah, she's like you, Cor." Alex joked.
At that, one word slipped out of the brunette's mouth. And that word was an annoyed sounding "ass". But it seemed the others were listening too closely to the girls to even notice.
"Wait, I have something to tell you-" Julie tried to say.
"No, it's my turn to talk." The other girl interrupted. "You can't give up music! Your music's like a gift, so that would be a tragedy. So, you're basically, like, cancelling Christmas, and I love Christmas!"
