"Kirito that's not fair!" Asuna pouts, already noticing that he was starting to cheat.
"Asuna, how many times can I tell you that I'm not cheating!" He argues back. She crosses her arms. "That looks exactly like what you're doing right now!" she complains before turning to her daughter. "Yui, is daddy cheating?" she questions. Yui laughs a bit nodding her head. "Yep. He keeps looking at yours everytime you look away," she says.
"See! You are cheating Kazuto, and just for that Yui gets to help me!" she says, her pout turning into a smirk. "Whatever," he says. "I'll still win," Asuna rolls her eyes at his nonchalant attitude. "Says the guy who was cheating,"
At the moment they were spending their Christmas Eve doing regular Christmas activities. A Christmas movie was on in the background, Home Alone to be exact, and at the moment they were making gingerbread houses.
"Yui, do you want to decorate the gingerbread man?" Asuna asks her daughter who nods her head excitedly. Asuna hands her the gingerbread man aswell as all of the other materials. About thirty minutes later, they were done and the winner was to be decided. "Yui, who do you think won?" Asuna asks her. "Of course me and mommy! Daddy's house is sloppy!" Asuna cheers, picking her up in excitement while Kazuto pouts.
"You do know cheaters never win, right?" she says, sticking out her tongue. "I barely cheated Asuna. Also, the winner can't be decided on just Yui. I'm going to call Sugu," Kazuto says, pulling out his phone and dialing her number. A few seconds later, she was on facetime. "Okay Sugu, me and Asuna made gingerbread houses. Whose looks better?" he asks as he points to each of theirs.
"Hm..." Sugu says, looking both of them over. "Asuna's." she speaks which makes Asuna laugh. "You just can't win, can you," she smirks. "Also, while you called Sugu, I sent a picture of both gingerbread houses to Alice and Rika. They both said I won too."
"I'll call you back Sugu," Kazuto says, suddenly a dark glare in his eyes. He picks up Yui, whispering something in her ear to which she nods to. "What're you guys planning?" Asuna questions, becoming wary of what her family was planning. A few seconds later Kirito grabs ahold of her, putting her on the couch before him and Yui begin to tickle her.
"Are you happy now, Asuna?" he questions, her laugh ringing through the air. "Say sorry to daddy mommy!" Yui says, also tickling her. "I-I'm..." she stops, still laughing and gasping for air. "I'm sorry Kirito!" she finally says, breathing heavily as the two finally stop.
The night goes on, and they all move from making gingerbread houses to making cookies. Once the cookies are done they decorate them before leaving them out for 'Santa', and as Yui begins to yawn, the two put her to sleep.
"Kirito look," Asuna says, catching a glimpse of outside through their window. "It's snowing," she comments. "Didn't Yui ask for a white Christmas?" he asks. "Yeah...she did," Asuna says, smiling. The two head to bed after that.
It's around eight in the morning when Yui goes into her parents room, shaking them awake. "Mommy, daddy! It's Christmas!" she exclaims. "It is," Asuna comments, turning to her side to see Kazuto slowly waking up. "Come on Yui, let's go brush our teeth before opening presents." Asuna says, bringing her daughter out of the room.
A few minutes later, Kazuto gets up, brushing his teeth before following his family downstairs. "Goodmorning!" Yui says, hugging her fathers knees. A smile takes over his face and he smiles back. "Goodmorning Yui," he says, picking her up to look for his fiancee. Once he found her, Asuna was located in the living room, waiting for them.
"Okay Yui, are you ready to open your gifts?" Asuna asks her to which she nods. Yui opens all of her gifts, which ranged from toys, clothes, games, electronics, and more. As she did, Asuna casually slided what she got Kirito for Christmas. "Here," she says, handing him the box.
"You got me something?" he questions curiously. "Of course I would. Open it," she says. He opens it a second later, his eyes widening in shock. "Asuna! You got me the video game I was talking about!" He cheers to which she smiles. "Yep. That's not it, either. I have another," she says, handing him a smaller box. Inside the box was a ring, to be exact a mans wedding band.
"I didn't feel comfortable being the only one with a ring...even if we aren't married yet." she says. Kazuto gives her a hug, which she quickly accepts. "Now, here's my present," he says, passing her three boxes.
Asuna opens the biggest one first, unwrapping the gift paper to reveal LED lights that spelled out 'Asuna & Kazuto' in cursive. Asuna smiles up at him. "I love it!" she says, already knowing where it would go in their room. She moves on to the second one, which was matching bracelets for them both. Asuna's was pink and had Kazuto's name on it while his was black with her name on it. She moves onto the last one, which is a necklace with Yui name and birthstone carved into it.
"If we have more kids, you can add their names onto it as well. Do you like it?" he asks her. "I love it," she says, admiring it. She looks up at Kazuto, quickly kissing his lips. "Thank you Kazuto," she says. "And thank you, Asuna." he says, kissing her back.
