A Summer with the Mikaelson's
Chapter Four - The Beginning of the Ball
Elena's P.O.V:
I used my vampire speed to quickly run into the Mikaelson's mansion, it was raining out which did nothing to help my mood. I'd been annoyed since Elijah and I had had no alone time at all. I know, I know, it's a petty reason to be annoyed but everyone else, everyone, had had alone time. I ran into what seemed like a wall, but it wasn't, it was Elijah, oops, I was too deep in thought to notice where I was going.
"Are you okay?" He asked me as he stabilised me, I nodded.
"'Lijah, why is that we haven't had any time to ourselves?" I asked I tried not to whine, really I did, but I don't think I covered it well enough for there was a raised eyebrow on his face.
"Because my brothers and sister aren't happy with the fact I should get alone time with other people," He said, grimacing slightly.
"That's not true." Three voices chimed. I giggled.
"Yeah, right," Elijah commented.
I got out my phone and sent Elijah a text. I can probably ask Bonnie to put something around your rooms so they won't annoy us, nor hear us speaking.
"Good idea," He told me.
"Elena, you're the first here, when Bonnie and Caroline get here meet me in my rooms," Rebekah stated while moving around. I'd dropped off my stuff to sleep in earlier and it was now roughly half two, so we had plenty of time to get ready.
"Alright," I said, knowing she'd hear me. I grabbed Elijah's hand he looped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I placed my arms around his neck and he leant down, as though to kiss me, but before he could the front door burst open and slammed again.
"We're here, Rebekah!" Caroline called before giggling at us, seeing what we were about to do. I was seriously angry, can't I get a few moments at the very least. I could feel the veins under my eyes growing black, and that my fangs had slipped out, I turned to Caroline and flashed her my fangs before Elijah turned my face to his.
"Although you look beautiful like that, you need to snap out of it, I promise you some time to ourselves later," it looked like he had more to say but gagging noised brought us both out of it, my veins and fangs appeared this time and Elijah didn't stop me. I used my speed to get closer to Caroline.
"Can you not!?" I hissed, she actually looked scared, I was getting annoyed I didn't want to scare her I just wanted them to stop it, all the damn time.
"I'm sorry," She said.
"Right." I let go of her and walked back to Elijah. He pulled me into a hug and whispered random things in my ear. I wasn't paying full attention to what he was saying because I was trying to get over it. Again, I know it's petty and everything but I can't help it, I just want time with Elijah. I don't think you can class Elijah as a boyfriend, he's too (what word can you even use?) Elijah, yes, that works: Elijah is too Elijah. Because that makes perfect sense! Note the sarcasm.
"Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, are you coming up to change or what?" Caroline left straight away, Bonnie looked at me and walked up the stairs hesitantly. For a moment, I heard her speaking to someone but tuned them out.
