I was on the verge of tears.

Why did Oliver want to be with Rose? She was horrible to him!

I tried texting him again.
Me: Oliver?
Hey, Oliver?
You there?
Come on, don't ignore me..

And yet he still never replied.

I got to my locker again, like I usually did before 1st period started. I hoped not to drop anything this time, I didn't know why I was such a clutz-

Bang.

I groaned.

"Ugh... great." Then, of COURSE, Rose sashayed over to me.

Nice going, Clementine.

"Hey, Clementine," she said. "Looks like you dropped something."

She picked up my language arts folder and, before giving it to me, took out my essay that was just done last night and ripped it apart in shreds.

I gaped at her.

"What did you... why did you..." But I trailed off because of what happened next. Oliver started laughing from behind her, pointing at the essay. I was shocked.

"What a loser," Rose said. "Maybe your teacher would give you more credit for that, because your real essay probably SUCKED!"

An eruption of HAHAHA'S arose as I turned beet red. Maybe I shouldn't go to my locker tomorrow. I'm such a clutz, dropping everything when all I'm trying to do is have a school day. But NO, it wasn't like that. I decided to just walk away and ignore everyone. Because WHO wants to be publicly embarrassed for, like, I don't know, 15 whole minutes?!?

Not me.

So that's exactly what I did. I walked away. That is, until Oliver stopped me. "Clementine," he said.

"Get away from me, I'm warning you."

"I-I-I.."

"Go. Away. Now. Or. Else."

"But, wait, it's..well.."

"GO AWAY!" I snapped, only so he heard me. "I'm REALLY annoyed at you right now. Just...leave me alone." I turned and ran away.

In the girls' bathrooms, I looked into the mirror and saw what looked like the dark side of me. My hair was frizzed up, my mascara was running, and my eyes were baggy.

Great. JUST great.

I decided to tell my mom everything. Now, I know that in all of those shows and movies the character who gets bullied never tells his/her parents about it. But if my parents knew all of this, they could definitely do something.

So, I fixed myself up, made sure everything was in my backpack, and headed to the office. Surely my mom would understand what I was going through.

"Hi," I said to one of the ladies as I arrived in the office.

"Hello," She replied. "What brings you here?"

"Can I please call my mom? I don't feel good."

"Of course, dear. Who's your homeroom teacher? I'll notify her, if you like."

A/N:
Hey guys! So I may start doing chapters from different character's POV's. Then you guys can know why Oliver is doing this, cuz I KNOW that part probably confused you. I'm working on "Chapter 8- Oliver's POV" right now, and I'll finish it soon, no worries. :)

TOODLES!
