Amelie didn't know what to do. She touched her head. All she felt was the gross sensation of her buzzcut. What was she to do now?
She took a deep breath before stepping outside into the dark of the night.
She was going to find Max if it's the last thing she does.
She searched and searched until she found him.
To her surprise, he was with Ines.
Has he already gotten over me? She thought. That's when she quickly entered the cafe they were in and took a seat nearby. She listened, and she listened close.
"What do you call a poor dog?
...
Paw!"
"Haha."
What? She thought. He never laughs at my jokes. They must love each other deeply. Even though my jokes are about as good as Max's (trash) he still laughed at Ines'!
She shed a tear before she exited and sat on a bench nearby.
What was she meant to do now?
