"Hey! Stop touching me! I swear, I couldn't see the illuminated, easy to see sign!" Amelie screamed, but they wouldn't listen to her pleas.
"Could you please be quiet? You can beg when the time comes," the police officer said, before he opened her jail cell. He threw her inside and she hit her head against the toilet seat and fainted.
Max was devastated. It was all his fault. He had angered her. He made her like this. She was now a monster. The buzzcut had changed her life, and not in a good way.
He would go see her, but he couldn't because he was being questioned.
The police weren't getting anywhere with this. It was as if... she couldn't see the sign! But they weren't done with Amelie yet, she still had something coming.
