You frantically looked around to see if any of the other Troupe members were around, but it seems like they had already left.

They probably don't even know that Feitan got taken.

As if right on cue, you heard a text notification on your phone.

"Mountains, East outside of York New. Come alone." The text demanded. Must be the Chain User looking for a fight, you thought to yourself.

Within half an hour, you arrived at the mountains. No one seemed to be around though, until you saw a hint of yellow in the distance. Must be a blond. The Chain User is probably blond then.

"I have him," you heard a voice yell. "It's either you or him that gets to leave. Choose."

Of course him. You thought. Even if Feitan wasn't going to commit to you, you still cared for him greatly. After all he's done for you, comforting you when you were on the brink of losing it, this is what you owe to him. "Him," you answered.

In an instant, you saw chained up Feitan get thrown on your side. The chains suddenly extended and wrapped around you as well, now linking all three of you together.

"Bold of you to assume I'm going to let either of you get away. I'm surprised you chose him over yourself though. Remember me, I'm the one that's going to take down the Phantom Troupe," the Chain User announced. "One by one, your group is going to vanish. My chains were created just for you guys. Try to pry out of it, you can't."

You begin to struggle in the chains. Actually.... I can? I can kind of feel them slipping off of my torso... is this supposed to be happening? You were very confused, if the Chain User just said that these chains were not escapable by the Troupe then why were you almost free from them just by wiggling around a little bit? Oh right. I'm not in the Troupe anymore technically. I had announced that I quit just before that talk with Fei. You reminded yourself while smirking.

As quietly as possible, you slid your body out of the chains. The Chain User realized and sent another chain towards you to which you quickly dodged.

You began to conjure up a dagger coated with poison that could only make someone unconscious and charged toward the Chain User. Just a cut, just a cut and he would be taken out.

Out of nowhere, another chain flung towards you and hit your side, causing you to be throwing onto the side of the mountain. How are these chains so strong, you thought to yourself as you struggled to get up.

Turning your watch, you decided to conjure up a tranquilizing gun. This is the lazy way to do it, but it should work, you reassured yourself as you jumped off the mountain and toward the Chain User a dagger in one hand and the gun in another.

The Chain User was able to whip you with a chain again, but this time, you shot him with the gun before you were flung out of range. Hitting the side of another mountain, you groaned in pain as you heard the sound of the Chain User fall to the ground.

Your eyes widened. I got him? I got him! It actually worked! If I was thrown onto a mountain one more time I would have been the one passing out.

You quickly ran to the unconscious body and stared at it. He looks kind of familiar, maybe I saw him outside an auction house one time?  You thought to yourself as the rage started to kick into your mind.

The fact that this unconscious man in front of you was going to hurt Feitan you were furious. Without giving it a second though, you held up the dagger over the Chain User, ready to pierce it right through his heart.

That is, until you felt the familiar touch of Feitan's hand on your shoulder.

"You don't kill." Was all he said.
