My sleep was disturbed by a low mumbling. I opened my eyes and looked around. It was still dark out.
I looked up to see if Evander was still awake but what I saw made me scream.

I stepped off the plane and breathed in the not so fresh English air. I've got to give it to them, they chose an okay country. It was pretty dark out but there was still a warm breeze flowing in the air.
I made my way through the airport and outside, hailing a cab.
I sat in the backseat and took out my phone, showing the driver the address.
I was heavily overdressed. The weather was warm and I dressed for the cold. No matter, I'm not staying for a holiday.
The drive to the address was long and soon, I finally got out of the cab, paying the driver before crossing the road to their home.
Althea and Evander were living lavishly. Big, modern, house. How fancy. Can't relate.
I walked around to the back and found myself in their garden. They had a garden and a pool which was directly opposite their kitchen.
Making sure I wasn't seen, I ducked behind a bush and peered over into the glass doors to see Althea and Evander eating; laughing and smiling together.
I almost cracked a smile. But how could I?! Considering everything I went through for—
I took a deep breath before getting up and sneaking out of their garden.
I jogged back to the front of the house and huffed. I looked up for a second and admired the architecture.
How quaint. I hope they have fun while it lasts; I'll be back soon, they should enjoy their time together...
