"Um, Buck wait"Buck was about to leave the room until Eddie interrupted that.

"don't tell anyone about this," Eddie said straight forward.

"Why?" buck asks confused.

"Sure it's a secret for now," buck said then winks.

*At the table*

Buck was cracking jokes and talking excessively.
"Buck is back to normal" Hen said as he drank her water.

"I'm gonna miss silent Buck," chim said as he takes a bite.

"hey, I'm just happy that's all," Buck said looking at Eddie.

"Why did something happen?" TK asks looking at him. Eddie gave a panicked look.

"I'm just excited for Christmas" buck lied and his smile fades away as he takes a bite of his food.

"So, TK, how you liking LA so far," Hen asks trying to break the silence.

"Well, it's really beautiful except for the accidents" tk answered.

"How about you captain Owen what are you doing while you're away from the station?" chim asks handing captain Owen a tissue.

"Please just call me Owen, I'm technically not a captain right now" Owen smiled as he explained himself.

"But you are one," Bobby said from the kitchen.

"Sorry, sir Owen" Chim repeat.

"well, I'm in the community care center serving food, etc just so I have something to do while Tk and Carlos are temporary here and The chemotherapy," Owen said.

"Wait you have cancer?" Hen asks in shock she did not know about this.

"yes but don't worry I'm doing my best to fight it," Owen said giving a smile to TK.

Hen nodded. The bell rings and everyone stands up and grabs their gear as they run to the truck. "Good luck 118" Owen said as they run toward the truck. "Thanks," Chim and Bobby said as they hop on the truck.

After a few emergencies later

Buck, Eddie, and Chim have already finished their shifts. Buck was about to leave when Eddie stop him.

"Buck waits," Eddie said as he walks to buck's car.

"Do you want a lift or something Eddie?" buck asks pointing at his jeep.

Eddie looks around for a second than when it's clear Eddie kisses buck.

Buck enjoyed that moment even if it was just a second.

"bye, Evan," Eddie said as he runs to his vehicle.

Buck was frozen for a bit, blushing. He gets into his car smiling and vibing to the music. He arrived at his house to find Maddie waiting for him in the living room.

"Someone is in a good mood today. Is there something your not telling me?" Maddie asks raising her brow at her brother.

"What no I'm just happy, can't a guy smile and be happy for no reason?" buck said as he closes the door.

"Well you were that happy when you're in love so tell me who is it?" Maddie said pulling her brother to the couch so they can talk.

"wow your hormones are crazy, is it because your pregnant?" buck joked as he sits down with his sister.
