Chapter 1

Encounter

I'm walking in the hallway with my face chin up. I keep my emotions blank and walked confidently without minding those dagger-like stares they gave me. They're blabbering about something, pero hindi ko na piniling pansinin. Wala din naman akong mapapala, why bother to glance at them

Since it's too early in the morning, instead of going to the classroom. I choose to go at the back of school which I found peace. Wala masyadong tao ang naglalagi kaya solo ko ang lugar, I like spending time in a quite place. No one will disturb me, and I will have my own quality time

When I reached the bench. I sit and wander at the place. Pwede na, may dalawang bench yung inuupuan ko at ang isa naman ay sira. I can also see the dried leaves from here. It seems hunted napagiwanan o hindi napiling ayusin. Ano pa nga bang aasahan ko? likod nga ng school

Maraming pwedeng pag tambayan pero ito ang napili ko so I need to bare with the unused things on my sides like chairs and table na basta na lang pinagpatong-patong habang sa harapan naman ay mga tuyong dahon

Medyo malamok din pero I can handle, hindi naman ako magtatagal. I just need to relax and rest my mind.

"I need to win the debate. I need to make Dad's proud" I said out loud while closing my eyes and crossing my finger so it will come true. It's like I'm wishing

While I'm in the middle of doing it, I suddenly heard a noise, but me being unbothered I remain my eyes closed to continue what I'm doing, but then, another noise was heard

'I'll burn whose behind that noise' I nagged. Then I decided to open my eyes, but when I open it.. I see nothing

Pinagpatuloy ko ang pagpapahinga at isinantabi ang narinig kanina. Kung sino o ano man yun hindi ko na lang pinansin. Kinuha ko ang salamin at tinignan ang sarili.

Maraming nagsasabi na hindi kami magkamukha ni Mom samantalang kahawig ko naman si Dad. Si Danica naman at kuya Matt ay nakuha ang itsura kay Mom habang si kuya Ethan ay halo

Sinuklayan ko ang itim at mahaba kong buhok. Hindi ito masyadong pinapagupitan, kung gupitan man ay kaunti lang. Naisipan ko rin na kulayan pero pinagbawalan ako dahil hindi daw disente tignan. Meron di akong mahahabang pilikmata na nakuha ko kay dad pati narin ang matangos na ilong at katamtamang kapal ng labi 

My skin is pale white, which I don't know where I get, my dad is moreno while my mom is medium. I continue brushing my hair using my fingers and put the whole bunch at my back, for my face not to be disturb. Kahit pa alam kong hahanginin din maya-maya

Nang makuntento sa ayos, tumayo nako at pinagpagan ang ang sarili. Hinayaan kong nakalugay ang mahaba kong buhok para mas magandang tignan. At dahil maaga pa ng makarating sa room, makikitang kaunti at nasa lima pa lang ata ang nasa loob

I go inside trying not to disturb them from reading, but when my shoe pointed the floor, it create a clack sounds that caught their attention. Kung kanina ay ayos lang dahil nasa hallway naman, ngayon ay nakaramdam ako ng pagkailang

The moment they saw me, they look at me as if I'm a new, I just ignore them at sinimulan umupo sa upuan, sabay kuha ng libro na kabibili lang 

Sometimes you need to forget about everything and escape the real world. There are many ways to do this, but personally reading books helps me to get lost if I need to get my mind off of something. There are a lot of pressures I feel. I just leave those behind and become someone. 

The story I usually buy is about science fiction, I like this kind of genre. Since books help me to escape and deal with some futuristic ideas concept it also gave me advance knowledge and at the same time gave me entertainment on exploring things that can be possible to happen
