A/N: Picture not mine.

I QUIETLY ENTERED the penthouse. It was already dark around and they were definitely asleep because it was early in the morning. I slowly walked up to my room and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. The red liquid dripped as the water flowed over me. I came from a job assigned by the organizzazione.

I closed my eyes as I remembered the looks of the people I had killed.

I took a deep breath and dismissed their appearance. I have been doing this for a long time and it's not like they are good people. They are also part of the organizzazione that violates the law given by the elders. And that is "you are not allowed to kill without the consent of the superior."

This is my fate and I can do nothing about it.

As I lay in bed I was gradually enveloped in darkness.

I saw a little girl in the corner of the darkroom. Alone and crying while holding her knees up.

"Nonna." She said it over and over again.

Next to the girl was a lifeless old woman, her blood scattered around as her lifeless eyes stared in the direction of the girl.

It was terrifying but again I found myself useless when a group of men entered and tried to drag the girl who was tightly holding the body of the lifeless old woman.

She was crying and screaming for help but the men beat her mercilessly. They do not listen to her plea as they constantly hurting her.

They just stopped when a man came in and just threw the girl's body. The girl weakly bent over as she hugged her thighs.

The man approached her and forced the girl to look at him. Feeling weak, the girl forced herself to look at him and could see the pleading in her eyes. The man just laughed like a demon and slapped the child hard on the cheek. Her fragile and weak body is already giving up when the man pulled out a knife and mercilessly marked the child on the chest for the second time.

The child cried out in pain as the men laughed. I tried to shout to stop them but they didn't seem to hear me.

I woke up because of someone shaking me while holding my arm. I grabbed my gun under the pillow and pinned that someone down.

I recognized her as a woman because of the length of her hair but I could not see her face very well. I pointed the gun at her while holding her wrist tightly.

"Hey... Hey... Zera..."

"Zera.... Wake up!"

Little by little my vision became clear and saw Calliope's worried face as she looked at me.

Astonished, I looked at her and quickly grabbed my head as I feel the pain as if throbbing. She helped me to sit properly as she gave me water.

"You alright?" Instead of answering I looked at her.

"Why are you here?" I asked as I hid my gun under my pillow.

"I heard you screaming so I thought you were hurt." Worried was heard in her voice.

I roamed my eyes and saw Lia and Alora outside of my room.

"What time is it?"

"5:30 in the morning." I shook my head and looked at her wrist. She tried to hide it but I slowly pulled it out and looked at it. I sighed to see it was red and looked like it was going to be a bruise.

"Sorry about that." She smiled at me and shook her head.

"It's fine." I motioned them to follow me to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and handed her the ice pack. She quietly accepted it as I pulled out a drink.

"What's on your chest?"

"Breast." She frowned.

"Seriously?"

"Scar."

"Scar?"

"From the past." She was silent for a moment.

"May I ask you something?"

"Go on." I motioned her to continue.

"When did you get that?" It was my turn to be silent.

"It's fine if you don't-"

"Eighteen years ago."

"How?" The two just listened quietly while looking at us.

We've been living together for a few months now, maybe it's okay to tell them. I took a deep breath slowly recalling what had happened before.

"I was five that time when a guy took me, and my nonna tried her best to protect me."

"Then?" I'm breathing heavily, my hands are itching to kill each one of them.

"They killed her." I heard them gasped then I was enveloped in a hug.

"Then suddenly all felt is pain," I mumbled.

"I'm sorry." I pulled away and smiled at them. "It's fine don't worry."

I was about to start walking out of the kitchen to see Liana still looking at me.

"Why?"

"How long have you been dreaming like that?" I was silent for a minute.

"Ever since that day." She nodded.

"This is not really my first time hearing you like that." She mumbled.

"Yeah, the other night I heard you too," Alora said quietly.

"Sorry..." I lowered my gaze.

"It's fine, no worries," Calliope said while smiling warmly. I smiled back at her. "I'm just on the balcony."

I no longer waited for them to answer and walked upstairs. I sat down and stared in amazement at the sunrise.

"You're a scarred soul." I look up and saw Alora leaning on the glass door. "So as you."

"You're too young to let the world break you." I look her dead in the eye.

"It's not the world who broke me, it's the people on it." Her eyes are full of pity.

"Don't pity me, I knew you've been to worst like me." I quietly said.
