"We need to find cover!" Hoseok shouted at no one in particular, body turned an entire three sixty to determine the source of the shots.

Yoongi looked around. "Can anyone see where it's coming from?"

A series of disavowals resounded in the car, releasing a frustrated groan from Yoongi's lips. Dong-in's teeth were pressed into his lower lip, bushy brows furrowed as he attempted to dodge the attacks and the rising Hosts.

Namjoon looked down at his phone and glanced at the window. Ignoring the questioning from his team members, he rolled down the window and stuck his phone outside. Using the camera, he zoomed in on where he perceived the shot was coming from and found the silhouette of three people, one toying with a flare gun in their right hand.

"It's coming from the right of us," Namjoon said. "The person with the gun seems to be right handed so I'll advice we stay on the left side of the road,"

"Uh, that's gonna be a problem,"

Namjoon stuck his head back inside the car and rolled up the glass at Seokjin's statement, only to have his eyes widen as he stared at the interception in front them. Hosts, roused by the noise and many in their numbers, were stumbling towards them and blocking their line of view. Which meant, even if they managed to drive through them, there was no way in hell they wouldn't crash into something. They couldn't see beyond the Hosts and that could leave room for anything.

The car came to a screeching halt.

"Yoongi, take the wheel," Dong-in said, grabbing his gun. "Seokjin, Taehyung, head out back,"

Concurring to his orders, everyone began squeezing their way into the positions giving to them. Once Yoongi had settled himself in the wheel and Dong-in shotgun, all the windows in the car were rolled down. Fei looked up at Sonya, terror in her eyes.

"It's gonna be okay," Sonya said, "Just close your eyes and sing a lullaby for me, okay?"

Fei nodded meekly and did as she was told. Seokjin sat on one end of the passengers seat and Namjoon sat on the other. Yoongi tolled down the roof for Sonya as she positioned her self and her weapon.

"You guys, ready the reloads," Sonya spoke to the rest of the group. Hoseok, Jungkook, Taehyung, Cha Won and Jimin who all agreed, happy to be doing anything to help.

The reloads weren't that much, eleven or twelve rounds each at most. They'd exhausted most of their ammunition in the weeks that they'd survived the outbreak and so they had cradle the ones they had and plan for the inevitable day when they would shoot their last bullet.

Weapons drawn, the front liners all glanced at each and gave curt nods. Then they stared at the hoard of Hosts charging towards them.

"Everyone ready?" Yoongi asked, hands already on the gear. Once he saw the nods they gave, he put the car in reverse for a quick second before reverting to drive and stepping on the gas.

All that could be heard were the sounds of bullets and fighting as they all opened fire on the mindless Hosts. The flares had stopped coming but no one seemed to care the cause of the battle in the first place. Sonya simultaneously hit two Hosts in the head watching as black blood splattered when they fell to the floor.

However, even with all the teamwork, nothing seemed to be working very drastically as although Hosts were falling, more were rising and hurdling towards them at insane speed.

"Shit!" Namjoon exclaimed, wiping beads of sweat from his forehead. "You were right, they are mutating!"

It was way more evident now. These things had gotten faster and stronger and that was a problem. Namjoon quickly reloaded. He had the shot gun and six bullets finished pretty when you went round after round on the undead.

"We need to make a clearing!" Seokjin informed all of them. "Aim at the middle! Aim at the middle!"

Directions changed, they all aimed at the middle just as Seokjin ordered, completely disregarding all the Hosts coming from the side. Their guns had no silencer so it quickly attracted unwanted attention.

"Shit, fuck!" Dong-in distracted them all for a bit as he quickly snatched his hand inside the car and cradled it.

The overwhelming smell of blood soaked up the front seat as Dong-in tore a piece of his shirt to gauze the wound diligently.

"Are you okay? You're bleeding!" Hoseok grabbed everyone's attention as he spoke to Dong-in.

"It's nothing," Dong-in replied through gritted teeth, still steadfastly attempting to stop the bleeding. Sonya could hardly hear this interaction with her head outside and the wind toying with her ears at the speed of the car.

"I see a clearing!" She shouted at the group, aiming at a Host that was getting too close for comfort and pulling the trigger.

Slowly but surely, with Yoongi driving over everything in his way and the rest of the four shooting loyally, they'd made a small but sure clearing in the middle where they could see on the other side. Taking advantage of this, Yoongi slammed on the gas, determination set on his face as the car lurched forward hitting everything it came in contact with.

On the other side of the Host wall was the dilapidated city as they knew it. Without wasting any more time, Yoongi drove past the hungry Hosts with intense speed, attempting to lose them with all that twists and turns he made and succeeding slimly. Once sure that everything was clear again and no more flares were coming their way, Yoongi slowed down and drove them into a closed in alleyway in order to check on everyone and examine any damages.

Sonya slipped back inside the car and the roof glass slid close. Then everyone stepped out of the car to do some stretching and examining.

"Okay, are we all good?" Sonya asked with a sigh as her hand stretched over her head.

"Dong-in's hurt," Jimin spoke with worry in his tone.

Sonya's eyes widened as she hurried over to Dong-in. "What?! Mr. Dong-in, are you okay? Where does it hurt?"

Amidst the pain he felt, Dong-in still brought himself to laugh as he cradled his injured arm. "If I'd known you'd be this worried, I'd have hurt myself more often," he teased.

She slapped his good arm and glared at him. "Be serious, what happened?"

Sonya examined his injured arm gently and stared at the black cloth wrapped around it which was evidently soaked him blood. She grimaced slightly.

Dong-in brought his hand up to unwrapped the makeshift gauze, revealing the large wound on his right bicep then he looked down at it himself and smiled slightly before staring at them and saying the words nobody wanted to hear.

"I've been bitten,"
