Cheryl's POV

I usually wake up earlier than today. Last night me and Toni went to bed really late. I was brushing my hair when someone knocked my door.

"Come in."

"Umm.. Good morning, Cheryl. I'm leaving right now. Jughead is here. You wanna come?" Toni asked.

"No thank you. Do not involve me in shady southside stuff." I whined.

"K, bye." Toni mumbled and got out of the room. After tying my hair up I got up for my morning jog. Jughead's bike was far away but I still heard it's sound. After having my jog and doing my workout routine I saw my mother's car leaving the territory. She was leaving for a business trip. No one would be bothering me for two weeks. I didn't have plans for that day so I entered the library and chose a book. It was called the art of winning. I took it to my bedroom and started reading. It was like 200 pages so I had hope on finishing it today. The time was flying but I was out of this universe. At some point I realized that it's past nana Rose's bedtime. I took my nana to the bedroom, helped her getting changed and made sure she's safe in her bed. I got back to my book. I was on the last three pages of the book when Toni got in my room. I quickly reacted.

"Have you tried knocking? What if I am naked or asleep? It's literally 1 AM. Where have you been?!"

"It looks like you care about me, Blossom." She teased.

"About you? Never." I said with a smirk. "Anyway, what do you want?"

"I'm going to watch this horror movie. You with me?"

"No thank you. I'm tired and I wanna finish this book today." I responded.

"OMG! Cheryl Blossom is scared of horror movies?!" Toni exclaimed with wide and evil smirk. She did that on purpose and I could clearly understand that. My pride couldn't admit it especially to her so I was supposed to prove her wrong.

"You are so annoying, Toni. I'm on last pages. Go get changed and turn that shit on. Ill come as soon I finish reading." Toni nodded and got out of the room. I had no idea how to overcome my fear but there was no choice. I finished reading and entered the room. I saw some popcorn and other snacks. It was unusual for me because I was never allowed to eat something somewhere else than dinning room. This was my first experience. I sat on the bad and Toni played the movie. Creepy letters formed the name of the movie. Toni seemed quiet and that made me feel even worse. Why are other people so strong and fearless? Why can't I be like that. This movie freaked me out. My chest started hurting and it was extremely hard to breathe but I found the strength to keep quiet. I couldn't show my vulnerability and weakness to a stranger.

Toni's POV

The movie was about to finish and I looked at Cheryl. She was sweating and struggling to breathe. I understood that something was wrong and it was already dangerous for her health. I quickly turned on the lights and stopped the movie. She was trembling.

"Cheryl! What's wrong!? I'm here! Can you hear me?" I tried to get her attention. She seemed like she couldn't hear or see me. I had no other way then holding her hand. I couldn't allow myself to do more. Cheryl started hysterically crying and shacking. I had no idea what am I supposed to do in this situation. Mrs. Blossom was not home and showing Cheryl in this condition would make it worse. The only thing I could think of was holding her but after some time I couldn't hold her anymore. She was shacking like crazy. I pulled her into a tight hug and started playing with her hair while trying to calm her down.

"It's fine, Cher. It's fine. See I'm here. Its fine, Cher." I was trying to comfort her. She started to calm down. Cheryl was still crying but the shacking stopped. "Breathe, Cher. Just breathe." I still kept her in my arms. After a few minutes she found her rest. Her body was so powerless. I don't think she could make it to her room. Her helpless body fell on the bed. She was looking at me with her big watery eyes. Her cheeks were still stained because of the tears. "What is it?" I asked. She didn't answer. Just looked at me wisely and pulled me closer. We laid like that for a few minutes before she fell asleep. I was able to think when I heard her breathing slowly and regularly. Just now I was alone with my thoughts and could analyze the situation. I'm pretty sure Cheryl had a really bad panic attack. There was no one for her on this world. She didn't have a boyfriend, her mother was abusive, her father who she didn't really like hung himself. And Jason... She had lost her twin brother who was the only one who loved her .I decided to talk to Cheryl about Jason. Maybe then I could understand her better. I pulled Cheryl closer. Her gorgeous red hair were lying on the pillow. She looked so innocent. I knew she was going to get mad that I let her sleep on my bed. I knew how bad would Cheryl feel for showing her vulnerability but now she was asleep. Cheryl will be embarrassed because she hugged me but who cares at this point? She needed someone and I was there for her. There can be no relationship between us. She's too good for me and I'll never be able to deserve her but at least I can be her friend who is always there for her.
