Cheryl's POV 

I was already excited when I opened my eyes. Today is the party day! The guests will have arrived in a couple of hours so I quickly got up for my morning jog but first of all I opened Toni's door. The room was empty because yesterday evening she decided to sleepover at her Southside friend's house. I thought that a few of the serpents on my party wouldn't ruin it so I told Toni to invite her friends.

I made a few steps into the room, it smelled like her. I missed her so much. Damn I haven't seen her for like 12 hours but I already couldn't think about anything else. I was standing in the room and trying to smell everything I can and I didn't really mind that I looked like a creep. I was standing like that for about 4 minutes when I realized that I also need to make sure the house and the pool are ready for the guests. When I got downstairs I saw the beautiful canapes, shot desserts and other snacks Mr. Bradford made.  After jogging I made sure the pool and the territory are clean and got back home. My morning routine was always the same; jog, shower, skincare, breakfast, outfit, make up and hair. I showered, did my hair and picked my outfit. Black hat with some black heels, sunglasses and a one piece red bikini. I was ready when I heard loud laugh. I got downstairs and saw that the guests were arriving. The parking lot was nearly full, that was weird that all the guys showed up at the same time. Usually some of them are being late. The crowd was mainly near the pool and there I found Betty and Jughead. 

"Hobo and his girlfriend! You guys doing good?"

"Oh hi, Cheryl! Were doing fine. The food is amazing." Jughead said trying to chew everything in his mouth.

"That's good. Jughead, where is Toni? I last saw her last evening when she was leaving to Sweet Pea's place, she was supposed to be here but I can't find her."

"I low key ship you guys. You are so worried for her." Jughead teased.

"Stop, Jug!" Betty half yelled. " She's right over there, Cher." She pointed to a group of teenagers in leather jackets. I saw Toni, she was laughing  innocently without knowing that she's being watched.

"Thanks, see you later, Betts." I announced and walked up to serpents. When Toni saw me she smirked and came up to me so I didn't get close to others. I really appreciated that because talking to bunch of serpents wasn't the thing I'd like to do right now. 

"Hi, Cheryl! You look amazing!"

"I know right. Girl, you are still in that serpent jacket on a pool party. Go get changed!"

"Uhh.. Fine but only if you come help me picking my outfit." She sounded seducing without even noticing it.

"Deal." We walked up to the house and entered her room. She opened the closet and took three different swimsuits. "Definitely this one. Go get changed. I'll wait downstairs." I handed her a white snake pattern bikini. 

"Yeah, this is my favorite one. Wait here I'll get changed in my bathroom." I waited for a couple of minutes and then she stepped out of the bathroom. She looked so damn hot. I could see her body curves. Toni caught me staring at her so I quickly reacted.

"This looks so good on you." She smirked. "Okay, now lets go. Everyone is waiting for me." We got back to our friends. Nearly everyone including Toni was in the pool. They were playing volleyball and doing swimming races. A few other girls were tanning on pool shezlongs and weirdos like Jughead were trying to eat all the food. Happily, knowing that Jughead was coming I made sure there is enough food for everyone. In the evening we turned on loud music and had a little dance party. I'm sure everyone had a great time. It was late evening when people left. It was surprisingly warm so me and Toni were able to sit outside. We were sitting on a red chesterfield sofa near the pool. We were talking about school and she was braiding my hair.

"Hey, Cheryl, why didn't you enter the pool today? You don't know how to swim?" This question was very random and unexpected, it made me nervous. In fact I was okay with telling the truth but she was probably going to make me do that.

"Um.. Lets say I don't like swimming."

"And what if you tell the truth?"

"Since the day I lost hope at the river and started drowning I don't really enjoy water activities. The only way my body interacted with water after that day are the showers I take every day."

"Okay, I'm not forcing you to come swim with me but lets just sit on the stairs. I'm a really good swimmer so you will not drown even if you want to and also only your legs will be in the water." Toni begged. She was looking at me with her big brown puppy eyes. Gosh! She could make me do stuff easily! "Please, Cher." Without saying anything I stood up and headed to our pool stairs. They were not like usual pool ladders, our stairs were more like pool steps so you could sit on them and be under the water. I sat on the first stair so only my feet were under the water. Toni sat next to me. Then we sank our legs and half of the stomach. "Hey! We passed the stairs. Stand up, Cheryl. The water here isn't deep." I did what she said and she wasn't wrong. The water was slightly above my belly button. I looked at Toni and saw how worried she was for me. She caught my eyes and smirked. "You go first, Blossom." She was behind my back and she really quickly put her hands on my waist. I did two more steps into the pool and turned around to her. I could see her face. She looked gorgeous under the moonlight. I looked in her eyes, they were the definition for being safe. She placed her hands on my cheeks. The time stopped in a collision of senses when her lips met mine. I could only focus on how soft she felt against my mouth, how addictively she invaded all my senses.
