I woke up an hour before midnight and decided to get a head start to the Gryffindor common room. I took the blank map and set the tip of my wand in the middle of the sheet.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." I whispered trying not to wake my precious little owl.

The map then revealed itself and I noticed two footprints were outside of the Gryffindor common room. The name under the footprints read 'Fred Weasley'.

"That's odd..." I trailed off and spotted two footprints inside of my common room.

"What's he doing up?" I asked myself.

"Maybe he's sleeping on the couch." I answered myself. Why do I talk to myself again?

I tapped the map with my wand and whispered "Mischief Managed."

The map then disappeared and I put the paper under my bed. I then got up and headed out of my room as quietly as possible with my wand clenched tight in my hand.

I tip toed down the steps, in my soft unicorn socks (who needs shoes when you have unicorn socks), and then started crawling to the door to avoid the sleeping person on the couch.

"Where you off to, Heart." Draco said sleepily, sitting up on the couch and looking down at me.

"Uh...I'm going for a walk around the school." I said, trying not to sound nervous.

"Do you think I'm stupid?" He spat, getting up quickly.

"Well-" I quickly stood up and he cut me off.

"Where are you going, Heart?" He said, taking a step closer to me.

"You know what? It's none of your business." I said as I headed for the door, but before I reached the door, my arm was pulled back.

"You'd better watch that mouth of your's before it gets you in trouble." He said looking me dead in the eyes.

"What is your problem, Draco?" I asked loudly, making him back away slightly. "I haven't even been here two days yet and you're already making my life more difficult than it needs to be! Why? Are just naturally a jerk? I never did anything to make you be all jerky to me yet you do it anyway. Why, Draco. Just tell me why."

He looked at me in shock. Then that stupid smirk of his appeared on his face as he took a step closer to me. I stayed in place not wanting to show fear. He then leaned down to my ear, his warm breath running down my neck, and whispered "You have no idea how much I wanna kiss you right now, Heart." And with that he left.

I stood there, angry, as he went up to his dorm. What is his problem? Thinking he can say something like that then leave? He should have kissed me at least...right? No! No! No! He's a jerk remember, a very cute jerk, but still a jerk.

I went up to the the floor where the Gryffindor common room was and found Fred sitting against the wall with his eyes closed. I went up to him and shook him softly making him jump.

"Bloody hell, Opal. You nearly gave me a heart attack." He said while I helped him up.

I giggled and said "Sorry 'bout that. Sorry I'm late too."

"You're not late I'm just early." He said, looking down. "Nice socks." He laughed, as he started for the portrait in front of us. There was a picture of a fat lady, she was sleeping peacefully until Fred shook the painting. She woke up, quite startled.

"Fred! That was terribly rude!" I said shocked that he would do such a thing.

"Oh. Uh...Sorry." He said to me.
