I woke up curled into a warm blanket and a small bed. I looked up half asleep before I closed my eyes once more. Then shot them back open as soon as I realized hat I had no idea where I was. I quickly got up tripping with the blanket still wrapped around me. I threw the blanket only to see I was in my neon short socks. They made me feet look like small little duck feet. I was wearing the same tank top, with my cardigan hanging over the side o the bed, that I was wearing the day before. I got it and put it on and slipped my shoes on as well. I saw my suitcase and my book bag beside the bed so I quickly opened it and looked to see if everything was there.

Everything seemed to be normal so I looked around the room for something useful. I looked at saw an old broom so I grabbed it and headed out for the door. I heard a humming noise coming from downstairs so I headed down as quietly as I could. Then I saw the woman that I had passed out on that night.

She was cleaning up around the house when she suddenly said "Hello deary. How are you feeling?" She hadn't even seen me which made me freak out a bit.

"H-how did you know it was me?" I said as my eyes widened.

"Oh nothing gets passed this ol' witch." She laughed slightly as she turned to look at me and smiled warmly.

My heart sank then. She knew about me? How? I had my hands raised with the broom held high. I stuttered out a quiet "What are you talking about?"

"Oh deary, there's no need to have something to protect yourself with. Especially not from me. I won't hurt you. I would never hurt anyone especially someone who just found out about her powers." She said as she kept cleaning around the house.

I slowly put the broom down and leaned it against the wall.

"How do you know about me? Who are you?" I said as she gestured me to sit on the sofa.

"My name's Molly Weasley, deary." She said as I sat down next to her.

"I'm Opal Heart." I started.

"Oh I know who you are. I was sent to go get you to bring you here after you were kicked out o-" she stopped mid sentence and stared at me with sad eyes. "I'm sorry deary. I didn't mean t-"

"It's okay." I said smiling. "I hated it there anyways. They did me a big favor by kicking me out."

"Yes well I was sent by a friend of mine, Albus. He sent me to get you so you could begin to learn about your powers."

"Wait... Albus?" I asked, clearly puzzled.

"Yes. Albus Dumbledore. Head of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry where you will be attending." She said happily.

"Wait. I don't even know you and now you're saying you're taking me to some magic school. I'm so sorry but I have to get back to my granny she'll take me in, she said so herself so if you'll excuse-" I stood up but was interrupted by Mrs. Weasley getting up and and handing me a letter.

"That reminds me, deary. She sent you a letter." She said as I took it.

I looked at the envelope and saw my name on it in granny's beautiful cursive handwriting.

"I'll be right back I've got to get ready to take you to get your school supplies." She gave my shoulder a slight squeeze and left.

I opened the card and read it to myself.

Opal,
I'm so sorry about what happened. I knew they would react like that. Anyways, you've met Molly. She's a complete joy isn't she. I knew her a long time ago and I think she caught on to me saying 'deary'. She's like a daughter to me. Oh, I shouldn't get off topic. Opal, you don't have to be scared of her. Just do whatever she says because she's just here to help. You'll start school soon and you will return to the burrow during Christmas and summer break. You'll live with the Weasley family and don't worry sweetie, I'll visit you when I can. I just want you to enjoy yourself. You'll learn how to use your powers properly and make new friends on the way. The students at your new school are all just like you at least TRY and make friends, okay? I'll write to you when I can. Love you, deary.
~Granny.
