"Class dismissed. Please make sure to read and practice all of the given activities in your own time. " The professor lecturing your class leaves and you and Satan stay behind to prepare your belongings. The whole class was assigned to practice some spells for tomorrow's activity and knowing the complicated wording of each spell, you easily slump in defeat as your head was aching from the mere thought of it. " What's wrong? Were the lessons too difficult for you?" Satan gave you a comforting pat on the shoulder as his eyes look straight at you, showing concern as your face visibly presented an unpleasant expression. Without a moment of hesitation, you talk to him about your concerns, sparing no detail at the slightest. "Hm...I see. Well if you don't mind, I could help you. I may not be as knowledgable as Solomon, but I know a trick or two about these spells."

"Please do! Thank you so much." You smile as a huge feeling of relief washes over your body. You can barely understand it but whenever you were with him, you always felt at ease. He was always looking out for you, taking care of you as his gentle expression looks at you lovingly every day.  It was always so comforting to be with him, almost as if your life has been blessed with the greatest gift in the world. "Let's go Y/N. We don't have all day." He huffs as he takes your hand onto his, intertwining them together as he leads you to the library that was a few floors away.

You arrive at the library and make your way to the counter. "Excuse me, where is the spell section?" Satan looks at the librarian who writes down the address and hands it to him, looking as if she was smitten by the blonde demon before him. "Thank  you very much." He smiles at her, making her cheeks flush. As you walk towards the section, you couldn't help but feel a bit curious about what just happened. " Did you know that librarian?" You ask him and he just laughs it off. "I've been visiting this place for centuries now, you can say we're acquainted." His hand reaches for yours and he gives you a playful smirk "Jealous?"

"Ha. Funny." You neither accept nor reject his statement yet you squeeze his hand as if to show him that it bothers you.  He smiles and squeezes it back, to show you that there is nothing to worry about and you believed him. After all, his honesty has always been one of the things you liked about him. "We're here." Satan points at the shelves at the very end of the hallway where strange books are placed with odd covers. Satan moves his fingers along the books and stops at one of the oldest-looking books hidden at the very bottom of the shelf.  "I remember the spells being contained here but..." He flips through them and you can see most of the pages had faded letters on them or none at all. "It's far too damaged. There were supposed to be several copies of this but I don't see them anywhere." Satan looked dejected as he flips through the book with a confused look on his face." We are all learning the same spells this year so a lot of them probably went ahead and borrowed the other copies."

"Yeah. You're right." He closes the book with a heavy sigh yet you try to remain your positive to lighten the mood. "It's okay. Let's ask Lucifer, maybe he can help us."

"...Okay." You borrow the damaged book and drag Satan out as he clicked his tongue at the thought of asking help from Lucifer.

"Hm? Restore a damaged book?" Lucifer, who was busy with his work looks at you in surprise as you came bursting through his office. "We have an exam tomorrow so we were wondering if its possible to restore the pages in it."
