🔞 Sick Day: Barbatos x Fem Reader

This is my own personal request to myself and all the Barbatos fans out there! haha enjoy!! :^D

"Y/N, could you help me with this? I need it finalized by tomorrow." Lucifer hands you a few papers to read through as you take them and push them aside next to the different papers stacked on your table. It has been two weeks of organizing and planning for an upcoming event in RAD and you have not moved an inch at your table nor have you been staring at anything else other than the papers given to you. The sound of your pen smoothly scribbling through the papers was the only thing that you've been hearing for a couple of days and what's more, you have not seen much of the other demon brothers other than during your class hours. With all the worries piling up in your head, you let out a heavy sigh, resting your head on the table then going back to work as soon as you felt your energy come back after a few minutes of rest. "Lucifer, this portion is done. Can you look through it? I'm almost done with the others as well so give me a few minutes to finish them." Lucifer eagerly takes the papers and scans through them, giving a nod of approval that easily cleared a lot of weight on your shoulders. "I appreciate the continuous effort Y/N, but you don't have to push yourself too far if you're tired. You should get some rest " As much as you would love to pounce on your bed and hibernate through the night, it was easy enough for anyone to see that the student council was at its busiest hours. Everything around you was a mess and not to mention, communication was barely existing in the room. "I'm not tired at all. Don't worry about it. Besides, shouldn't we be going to Diavolo's castle right about now? He did say he still had some arrangements he wanted to talk about. " You give Lucifer your best-composed smile, showing no signs of fatigue at the slightest. "I almost forgot about that. Let's get going then." After cleaning and organizing the student council room, you both head to the demon lord's castle.

"Lucifer! Y/N! You came!" Diavolo rushes towards both of you at an incredible speed and leads you both inside. There you are greeted with the familiarly large castle and its exquisite structure, refined at its best state as always. "Good evening." Barbatos greets you with a courteous bow and a pleasant smile, taking your belongings and putting them aside. " Barbatos if you may, take Y/N's belongings on the guest rooms on the left-wing. As for Lucifer, I presume you'll be up all night for our discussion?" Diavolo looks at him with a bright expression and Lucifer retorts with an exhausted sigh. "If it is THAT urgent, then of course."You stood there awkwardly as Barbatos has left and the two demons are both idly having a conversation by themselves. At some point, Lucifer then brings you to the conversation. "Y/N has been diligently giving some ideas as well, so for now, we should also consider her suggestions as they may also prove useful in many aspects."

"I see. If you may briefly explain them to me, I would like to hear about them." Diavolo gives you a kind smile and you quickly explained your ideas, sparing no detail whatsoever which highly impressed the demon lord. After a few hours of discussion, the two begun to go to Diavolo's room, discussing private matters and leaving you in a spacious living room. The living room was wide and decorative, having one long comfortable couch, a coffee table, an expensive-looking carpet, and a fireplace in front of it all. It was rather lonesome being alone in a big place but you brush it off, taking out the documents you have yet to finish and continuing them for the night. "My lady? Isn't it about time you go to bed?" Barbatos walks into the room, looking over at you with a concerned look on his face. "I still have a lot of things to do. If you'd like, would you accompany me for the night? It's lonely just being here all by myself." You pat the seat next to you and Barbatos stands there in silence, a bit hesitant. "Cmon, please? Or do you have something to do for the night?" You look at him with a pleading look on your face and he eventually sits down. You both sit there in silence as you read over the documents, feeling a lot more comfortable with Barbatos around. "Do you need any help in sorting this out, my lady?" He takes some on the pile and fixes them onto his hands. "No. It's fine. I have it under control." You give him the same smile you gave to Lucifer before and he somehow gave you a very displeasing glare. "As much as I find your sense of diligence appealing, you do not have to go this far to hide it from me. It is always okay to ask for help when you need it from time to time, my lady." He gives you a fond smile and you easily gave up and asked for help. "As you wish." He chuckles and takes half your workload away from you, leaving you to feel a bit more relieved about the task. You both work away as time passes, swiftly reading and finishing all of them at a quick pace. Eventually, you are down to the last stack and as much as this makes you happy, your body felt like it was about to give up on you. Your whole body felt like stone, your chest felt like it was tightening, and what's more, you felt like everything around you was spinning. "Y/N? Y/N!" A faint sound from Barbatos was the last thing you heard as your vision slowly fades away.
