Willco/Solangelo: A love story

XXX- Zack

"Come on Lance. Where going to be late." I called back. Lance was getting unbuckling Kenny, our son, from his chair.

"Wait daddy!" Yelled Kenny once he was unbuckled. He jumped off the car and ran to my side. Lance closed the door and jogged to catch up. "Where are we going daddy?"

"Remember the camp where your dad and I met?" Lance asked. Kenny nodded. "That's where we're going. It's just over this hill." It has been 15 years since we left camp. Lance and I were 32. We were meeting with everyone else from back then. Will and Nico had a kid already. They were 30 and their kid was named Zackary like me. Jay and Janet were 34 and 30 respectively, and already had twins, Aaron and Arnold. Chris was 24 and was beginning to date this girl he met in college over in the roman camp. As soon as we crossed the camp border everything shimmered into place. We saw a huge barbecue down in by the beach. A few campers were playing in the volleyball pits and a few were by the stables. As soon as we arrived at the barbecue, I was tackled down by Aaron and Arnold.

"Uncle Zack! You're here!" They both said.

"Can Kenny go play?" Arnold asked.

"Yeah sure. Just not in the water okay?" I replied.

"Let's go Kenny!" Aaron called as he turned and ran towards the group of kids making sand castles. I stood up and smiled at Lance.

"Kids are rough now a days huh?" I asked.

"Either that or you're getting old." He replied. I laughed and pushed him.

"Let's go find Jay and Janet." I said and took his hand in mine. We walked around looking at everyone. We saw Percy and Annabeth talking to Jason and Piper. They were saying something about who was stronger than who. I guess they never let that one go. Calypso was talking to Hazel, they had become good friends since both were from different time periods. Frank, at least I thought it was Frank, was morphed as an elephant and was giving rides to kids. Leo was handling the grill. Occasionally a steak would fall into the fire and he would reach in to take it out. We finally saw Jay and Janet with Chris and his girlfriend talking to Will and Nico. They waved as soon as they saw us.

"Hey Zack. Hey Lance." Nico called. He had changed. His skin didn't look pale anymore, but instead it was a little bit more tanned. He had been working out because he looked to be the same size as Will and there was a smile in his face, a welcoming smile. Will was still the same, his radiant smile with his blond golden hair and his blue eyes. Jay had also been working out because his swimmer's body was better built. He was wearing glasses from being glued to a laptop screen to long. Janet had long hair, the same color as it always was. And her belly was beginning to show. Another baby on the way. Chris was holding hands with a girl. She was a red head. I must've looked too long because Chris spoke up.

"Oh right. This is Layla, descendent of Venus. Layla, that's my brother Zack, son of Morpheus, and his boyfriend Lance, son of Nemesis." He said. Layla smiled and said hi.

"So how's the baby?" I asked. Janet smiled.

"She's fine." She replied. Nico coughed and choked on his drink.

"She?! As in it's a girl?" He asked.

"Yeah." Jay smiled. "We're naming her Emily." Then she went off to the side with Layla, Nico, and Lance to talk about baby shopping.

"Congrats man." Will patted Jay on the shoulder.

"Thanks guys." Jay smiled. "It's good to be back here. Where we all began the best part of our lives. We all have lives now. Where we don't have to worry about a monster attacking us or a quest that we have to take up. We're free to live our lives. Let the new campers take those quests and fight the monsters. I'm content with my life now."

"Yeah. I am too." I agreed. "I'm going to get a drink." I said.

"Oh yeah. I need a new one." Jay replied. All four of us walked over to get new drinks. I looked over at my cabin. I saw a couple of kids inside it. Brothers and sisters of mine. That cabin was a home to me. Looking at it brought back nostalgia. The moment I first fell for Lance, the time we spent our first night together, the time we planned our future together. All of it was in that cabin. I smiled. Looked over at Lance. He looked at me. He smiled and waved. Then went back to talking to Janet. We had all grown here in this camp. Chris tapped me on the shoulder.

"What do you want to drink Zack?"
