Marshall's P.O.V...
I walked out of class, bumping into someone. "Oh my gosh. I'm sorry." I said, putting my hands on the person's shoulders. The person's head was down. "I-it's okay." Thats Bethany's voice. I lowered my head and saw her eyes. She's crying. I took her arm and walked us to a table to sit at. "What's wrong?" I asked her and she shrugged. I pulled her hands, away from her face. "Tell me." I said with a worried look.
She shook her head and stuttered "G-go away. Alex is w-waiting for you. I-I'll text you la-ater." I shook my head. I wasn't going to leave her, here in tears. She knows this. "No, not until you tell me what's wrong." I said. She stood up and waved at me. She stared running away and I began chasing her. Then, she entered the girl's bathroom. Should I go in?
"Hey, babe." Alex yelled from afar. I turned and saw her sitting down, where we were supposed to meet minutes ago. I waved at her and took a deep breath in. I don't want to go in. "Alex, get Bethany out of the bathroom please!" I yelled. She ran inside of the bathroom. Minutes later, she's dragging Bethany out by her arm. "Let me go! Fuck you, both!" She yelled, squirming out of her grasp. She ran away again, but now I don't even know where she went. Oh lord. I'm so worried about her.
Alex's P.O.V...
I sighed. I wonder what's wrong. "Babe, let's go. I have the rest of the day planned for us." I said, tugging on his sweater sleeve. He was just standing there. "Marshall?" I asked concerned. He shrugged and started walking with me. We walked down the stairs and I said "Marshall, what's wrong? You look worried." He nodded. I stopped him and said "We should go find Bethany." He nodded and whipped out his phone. He pressed his phone to his ear, while tapping his foot. He groaned and sighed afterwards.
"She didn't answer my call. But she did press ignore. Call her." He said. I took out my phone, searching for her contact. I clicked on it and pressed call. She ignored me, as well. Oh gosh. Where could she have gone to? Oh "Marshall, she ignored me. Where could she be? We need to find her." I looked at my phone, checking the time. Then a message from her popped up.
From Bethany:
Hey, I'm fine. Don't bother finding me, I want to be alone for just this moment. Call me around 9pm.To Bethany:
Oh okay. But please tell me where you are right now. I need to know you're safe. From Bethany:
I'm home. But don't bother coming to me.To Bethany:
Okay. Well, I'll call you later. Love you, Bethany. From Bethany:
K.I put my phone in my pocket and said "She's at her house. Do you think we should go see her? I think we should." He nodded and we walked to...wait. I put my arm in front of him and he comes to a stop. "Wait. How did she get home so fast? Did you bring her to school?" I asked him and he nodded. Oh god. Where could she be? "Then where is she? We need to find her." I said. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"I know where she's at. Come on, hurry. Let's get in the car." He said running to his mom's car, unlocking it. He started the engine quickly. I got inside and buckled my seatbelt. "Wait, I have my car here." I said. He gave me the 'does that really matter right now?' look. I shook my head and he pulled out of the parking lot. He drove down the school block and stopped in front of a house. This looks like a really bad place to be in.
"Stay here. I'll go get her." He said getting out, running into the house. This house looks old. It looks like a place where people who drink and smoke would be at. I unbuckled my seatbelt. Maybe he might need help, right? I got out of the car and started walking towards the house. Before I stepped in, Marshall came out, holding Bethany's arm that was around his neck. "Need help?" I asked and he nodded, pointing at the door of the car.
