Hi! This is a oneshot for @amyxamber! So sorry for the wait! I hope you enjoy!

Its day one. Day one of mine and Thomas' café. We call it The Daily Grind. It's a cute little place. Currently there's only one other worker besides ourselves, and Thomas will only be able to work part time for a few reasons. The first one being filming, and the second being how famous he is.

As I walk up to our cozy building I see a big group of people standing in front of the doors. It is the grand opening day, but we didn't even advertise for it. I walk inside the back door to see two people scambling around trying to get things ready.

"Calm down!" I call to the crazy people. They both halt in their tracks, "What is so wrong?"

"Look, you are an entire hour late, and there are a load more people than originally planned!" Thomas shouts over his shoulder. I gasp and basically throw my stuff in the back room that was technically a broom closet. I then start running around trying to get it ready just as they had been.

"Rumi?" I call into the kitchen. Rumi is the cook. She makes all the muffins, cookies, and scones cause no one else can as well as she.

"What?" She calls out rather harshly. I am taken aback. Rumi never shouted or snapped at anyone.

"Do you have those scones yet?" I ask. She starts mumbling something I can't quite understand through her thick Liverpudlian accent, "Alright, whatever, just have them done by the time we open those doors at 9." I say doing one last look through. Thomas is sweeping up one last time, Rumi is running around the kitchen covered almost from head to toe in flour, and I, myself, am smoothing out my apron.

"Ready?" Thomas asks standing at my side by the door. I nod, and suck in a deep breath. We both grab a handle on the glass doors, and pull.

The flood of people is enormous. I nearly don't make it to the counter. More than half the people here are girls. I'm not sure if they're fans of coffee, or Thomas, or even both!

"Hello, my name is Amy, What can we get you today?" I ask what seems like the three billionth customer. She is clearly dressed up, or rather wearing as little clothing as possible but still enough to get away with.

"Uh, I don't know." She says standing there for a second with her hand on her clearly uncovered hip. Her face is almost as painted as a clown's, "You can move on," She says cutting her eyes towards Thomas. I know what shes thinking. And I don't like it. But I can't exactly do anything about it right now. I put on a smile, and watched her walk away. Her shorts are so short she could wear them as bathing suit bottoms, and her top is barely existant.

"Hi." I hear her say in her snooty voice. I can't stand knowing she is talking to Thomas. I steal a glance.
"Yeah," I see him say smiling at her. That smile drives me wild. And he's using it on her. I cannot believe this. I finish the last person's order, and I was about to walk up to them when I saw her reach up, and kiss him. Kiss. Him. Like pushing her lips into his lips. As in tonsil hockey. As in my boyfriend and that...that...hussy swapping spit. Thomas shoves her away lightly, and backs up. He says something, and backs away quickly. He bumps directly into me, and gasps for a second.
"Did you see that?" He asks throwing a thumb behind him. I nod. He scratches his head and raises his eyebrows, "Can you believe her?" He asks. I shake my head, and sigh.
"I thought that would stop surprising me." I say chuckling at my own pity. He pulls me into a hug, and sighs.
"I have been hoping it would stop. People get so caught up in their own thoughts, and don't even realize all the repercussions their actions could produce." He said. I sigh into his shoulder, and close my eyes.
"You couldn't be more right." I say pulling away, and looking at the gaggle of girls standing around taking pictures. I stop suddenly. I have a way of being insulted on the internet even before I met Thomas. I cover my face with the clip board in my hands, and walk back into the kitchen.
"What's wrong with you?" Rumi asks looking up at me from the bowl in front of her.
"Nothing." I say. Thomas soon bursts in the kitchen area. He starts talking to me trying to get me to calm down. He should know by now that it takes time to calm down.
"I just need a minute." I say, "Just a bit frazzled." He nods and kisses my head.
"I'll avoid girls kissing me, and look," he says. He smears his hand against the inside of the fireplace and wipes the soot on his face. From there Rumi throws flour in his face. He opens his eyes slowly, and smiles.
"Thanks." He says. I giggle, and shove his shoulder towards the door.
"Get out there and sell some pastries." I say.
