Hajime's Secret

Hajime sat down in the break room, blowing cigarette smoke. What the hell was he thinking, saying that to Nuan? It was like he had no filter when he's around her, what was his problem?

"What's got you down?" Jyugo asked.

Hajime fell out of his seat, startled by the escaped inmate.

"How the hell did you get out of your cell!?" Hajime was seething in anger as he yelled.

"Same way I always do." Jyugo was nonchalant about it.

Hajime grabbed him by the collar of the shirt and started dragging him to his cell.

"You have alot of nerve leaving your damn cell," Hajime raised his voice. "You four are on thin ice after the Inmate 40 incident."

The only reason Nuan was being demoted was because of Cell 13, they let Inmate 40 out of his cell. According to the four inmates, Inmate 40 had bargained with them saying that he had the power to give them what ever they desired, he knew people in high places and it could be done, all they had to do was bust them out. When the four had found out about him attacking a nurse, they quickly realized it was a lie, and had been on low with escaping their cell. Hajime had piled that on top of the other secrets he had, if five inmates were put on death row in such short time frame, the higher ups would raise some questions. As would some of the staff at Nanba.

"I am trying to keep you alive," Hajime shouted. "If the warden, or worse someone from Building 5 found out you had something to do with this. You can kiss your asses goodbye!"

"Hajime we told Jyugo not too," Nico exclaimed. "We knew you were still mad at us!"

"Yeah," Rock chimed in. "You can't get mad at us, for something we didn't even do."

Uno let out a yawn, tears in the corners of his eyes, he was taking a nap while all this was happened.

"What's going on," Uno rubbed his eyes. "Are we still taking about Hajime's crush on the nurse who's married to that Samon guy?"

That was the tipping point for Hajime. A dark aura surrounded him as he cracked his knuckles. The screams pain from Uno and Jyugo could be heard throughout the entire building. After a few minutes he left slammed the cells door leaving them bruised and somewhat bloody, as they laid motionless with Nico and Rock looking over them.

As Hajime walked away from the cell he pulled out a walkie talkie.

"I need a nurse," Hajime requested. "Cell 13, had some inmates that stepped out of line, and need medical assistance."

It was a few seconds before someone picked up.

"I'm on it," Nuan said. "I'll be there as soon as possible."

"No that's quite alright, you're still in the main building," Hajime stated. "I need someone closer, Ahmya, where are you?"

"Building 4, I'm going over paper work with Supervisor Yozakura," Ahmya answered. "Just let her do it."

"Fine," He let out a sigh of defeat. "Be here as soon as possible."

What Uno said wasn't a lie. That was another secret Hajime had added to the hundred secrets he has already, he had developed a crush on Nuan in the past few weeks she had been here. There was no way she would share his feelings for him, the biggest reason was her being married to the one person he hates the most. Another reason was that Nuan and Samon were head over heels in love with each other, when Nuan first got to Nanba her and Samon acted like teenagers in love, it actually made Hajime sick to his stomach with how sweet they were being. He thought it was just a minor attraction to her, but when she didn't blink and eye at how intimidating he can be, how she was caring, and she always greeted everyone with her smile, things had changed. If Mitsuru or Ahmya found out he'd never hear the end of it, and if Samon found out, it would not be pretty.

Hajime walked back to his office, sitting at his desk and waited for Nuan to arrive.
