Nuan sat in the middle of the living room in her and Samon's apartment, Samon was working overtime so this had given her a chance to meditate. The lights were out only being let by the six candles surrounding her in a circle, and the ones randomly placed in the living room, with the six candles around her there was a small piece of amber between them.

Just like her husband, Nuan is able to use qigong, it happens when she feels centered, and a peace mostly during meditation or yoga. As Nuan took in a deep, relaxed breath, a golden glow began to form around her, she began to levitate with the candles, and amber lifting themselves off the ground. Nuan's eyes remained closed, as she let her mind take control of her body.

"After all this time you don't know a damn thing about me."

"You can tell me what's wrong?"

"We've haven't been dating for not that long."

"I don't know what I do, if I was pregnant right now."

"I can't explain, but I have a bad feeling somethings going to happen."

"Maybe there's still apart of me that hopes, we could've worked things out."

"There's no point in blaming yourself for something you couldn't predict."

"Samon will come around, just give him a chance."

"Why!? Why all the secrets!? How many times do I have to see you in pain for you to finally tell the truth."

"Have you ever been curious?"

Nuan heard these voices, each different from the previous one, but unable to make out who they belong to. None of these voices were happy, they were all sad, or angry, or both. It was off putting to hear them, but Nuan remained focused.

She started seeing visions, all figure blurry except one that flashed in the background of everyone. The figured was slouching, with their hands in their pocket. Nuan couldn't make out their face, but she knew that it was a man. Small pieces of a vision flashed in her mind, it looked like a large crowd of people, every was casual with each other so it was a party. Nuan let the vision continue.

It was dark outside, Samon and Kiji were walking to his apartment.

"I'm sure I have the file somewhere," Samon walked with him. "I'll ask Nuan, since you said you last had them with her. You must of left them and she picked them up by accident."

"That's probably it," Kiji muttered. "If not, it'll be a week before I can get another copy."

Samon pulled out the keys to his apartment door when the strong aroma of citrus hit booth their noses.

"What's that?" Kiji sniffed the air.

"Nuan is meditating," Samon's voice got quiet. "We can't disturb her. We'll just to look for the file ourselves."

Samon slowly and quietly entered the apartment with Kiji, who was amazed at the sight of her meditating.

"Shit," Samon hissed out. "She's having a bad vision?"

"How can you tell?" Kiji whispered.

"She's crying. Look."

Samon was not lying when he said that, small tears fell from her eyes, and ran down her cheeks, as she looked distressed. Nuan heard quick muttering, it sounded scared, distressed, worried; that fact she didn't know what they were saying made it confusing, what was happening? What was to come? It all came to a close when she heard a gun shot.

The candles blew out, Nuan's eyes shot open as she let out a gasp. Her along with everything floating around her dropped to the floor.

"Nuan," Samon ran over to her before holding. "Baby, are you okay?"

Nuan's eyes were glassy, as she laid there, unresponsive. It was like there was nobody home. Kiji flipped on the light, as Nuan was motionless, and from her face emotionless as well.

"Nuan," Samon raises his voice in worry. "Wake up. I know you can. Come back to me."

Nuan let out a gasp, as if she was holding her breath, she gripped her husband's bicep before looking at him. When she was met with his eyes of distress in panic she started sobbing, she buried her face in his chest and cried her heart out. Kiji left the apartment without saying a word.

A few hours had gone by, Nuan laid in bed, as she hugged Samon. She had told him what she saw, and how she didn't know if her vision would be in her dreams or in reality.

"A gunshot," That was the part that stood out to Samon. "It honestly could be either."

He ran his fingers through her brown hair. Samon hated that he couldn't do anything, except talk it out with the therapist. Samon wasn't against the therapy, it's made this alot easier to get through, but it was he had to open up and show a level vulnerability that he felt comfortable only showing to Nuan. He felt her shift is his arms, he looked down to see that she had fallen asleep, she was was beautiful when she was sleeping. Samon sighed. Tomorrow was a new day, and hopefully it would be better.
