As many people know Nanba Prison is on a remote artificial island, only certain people get in, and very rarely does someone get out. All the more reason to question why a shadowy figure stood outside the prison.

A passing guard on the midnight shift was walking by the gate and notice the figure.

"Hey," He called out. "You're not authorized to be here!"

The guard on the other side of the gate shined a flashlight at the figure, it said nothing only walked toward him.

"Stop," He barked out. "If you take one step closer I'll have to restrain y-"

The guard dropped his flashlight, and was face to face with the shadowy figure. He was shaking in fear, he couldn't see a mouth, eyes nothing to indicate what or who he was looking at. All he could see was the gloved hand the reached out and put a hand around his throat and lift him off the ground. It was like staring into the void. Until two glowing purple eyes flashed before him, making him let out a blood curdling scream.

Nuan shot her eyes open and sat up in bed, her breathing was ragged, like she was in a panic. Her blue eyes scanned the room, everything was in place, she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear before letting out a sigh of relief.

"Everything okay," Samon's voice was raspy. "What happened?"

"Bad dream," Nuan sighed. "I think, I don't remember."

Samon sat up in bed, and began rubbing her back. Nuan looked distressed, ever since the incident with her vision, only two have happened so far and it's been frustrating for her to say the least. It's had her convinced that something really bad is going to happen, and it's freaking her out a little too much for Samon's liking.

"Baby look at me," Samon spoke softly.

Nuan did as she was told, and looked at the kind smile on her husband's face only being illuminated by the moon outside.

"It's going to be okay," Samon reassured her. "Whatever happens, big or small, good or bad, it's going to be okay. We've got each other's backs. I'm not going to let anything happen to you again. I promise."

Nuan hugged Samon, his woodsy citrus soap still lingered on his skin as she buried her nose into his neck, his body was warm it made her feel safe. She was so distracted by the feeling of Samon she hadn't realized he laid them both down back in bed.

"I'm right here if you need me," Samon kissed her. "Get some sleep. I love you."

"I love you too," she said back.

When Samon rolled over, it left Nuan alone with her thoughts. Samon promised her, he would always protect her, but she knows there will be a time where he can't; she would never consider him weak he was far from it, but she'll never leave his side, as long as he tries to protect her. She'll never give up on him, as long as he continues to do the same.

Nuan hugged her husband, burying her face into his back. Samon intertwined her left hand with his left so their rings were beside each other. Nuan let out a soft sigh, she was quick to fall asleep. Samon continued to lay awake for a few minutes, with a ominous feeling over his head.

He knew something bad was going to happen, but what?
