Zora has been a friend of the Banks family for three years. They were like the perfect family you would see on TV. When Phillip and Vivian's nephew comes to live with them, he turns their lives upside down.
I was in the Banks backyard with Will he wanted me to help him get in shape. I was watching him try to lift the weight as I was spotting him
"Are you guys busy?" Ashley asked walking outside
"No, not really." Will said as he threw the dumbbell and I caught it and put it down
"So, what's up?" I asked her as Will grabbed my water bottle and drunk some
"Um, well, they're kind of having cheerleader try-outs at school and I sort of thought about going. But, you know, that's kind of a stupid idea so I sort of blew it off." Ashley told us
"You wanna tryout for the cheer squad. It'll be great I'm training to be captain anyway we can be on the same team" I told her grabbing her hands
"Oh, well.. Ha-ha. Well, I think that being a cheerleader is kind of a, you know a sort of a...good idea." Will said imitating her
"You think I have a chance?" She asked us
"Of course, you do." I assured her
"Yo, back in Philly, the girls had this cheer, right that, yo, really got the crowd hyped. They used to be like this. They used to be like.." Will told her as he stood up
♪ We beat 'em we dissed 'em ♪ ♪ We kicked their butt good ♪ ♪ But that was kind of stupid y'all ♪ ♪ We in their neighborhood ♪♪ he cheered

I was sitting in the kitchen with Will today was Mrs. Banks 40th Birthday. My grandfather was gonna meet us at the restaurant. Carlton walking in trying to tye his tie as he held it out for me
"Man, Carlton, that's kind of a smooth tie you got there, man. Let me check that joint out." Will said as Carlton gave him the tie
"Sure. It's silk twill, hand sewn in Italy." Carlton told him as Will smacked a spider with it
"That spider's been getting on my nerves all day, man. Check this out. I dotted the "I" on the Armani." Will said as Carlton snatched the tie back
"Come here" I told Carlton as he gave me his tie as I began tying it for him as Ashley walked in
"Will, Zo I thought about it all weekend and I decided to sign up for cheerleader try-outs." Ashley told us
"Are you sure, Ashley? You'll have to wear an indecently short skirt make a spectacle of yourself in front of your whole school and ride on a bus with a bunch of sweaty teenage boys." Carlton said as I looked offended
