Three months had gone by and Calla was no where to be found.
Althaia's health had been getting better since then. The only time it went down hill was when she found out Calla was missing.
They finally persuaded her to go easy and to not worry about things that she shouldn't need to be, like replacing the lightbulb when one is broken.
Sometimes in the morning, Althaia forgets that Calla and Stefano are no longer with them.
She would always prepare their coffees in the mugs they often used and Calla's favourite fruits in her preferred plate.
Both Stefano and Calla had dishes and cups that they prefer to use over others. No one touches them or uses them because it felt wrong.
Breakfast was no longer filled with genuine laughs besides Stella's. The only one who truly laughs and expresses real joy.
Tyler was tired of it all. This whole time, he had been conflicted whether Calla was a traitor. He had built so many good moments with her and a strong bond was created. Calla was the sister he never had and now that he had a sister, he didn't want to lose her. But he would lose her if she really had betrayed the Bianchi family.
Stella had been constantly asking where Calla was and when Stefano would come back. She had missed the company of both of them. She no longer had a play buddy and her brother wasn't here to give her a basket that was usually filled with mint chocolate chip cookies.
Stella had no friends because of her family background and kids were mean to her. Calla was her first friend. The only person who didn't make fun of her.
"Tyler."
"Hm, what's up Stella?" he said as he pulled her up to her lap.
"Where's Calla? I want her to play with me."
"Calla's busy. She had to go somewhere, but we're looking for her and when we find her, we'll bring her straight to you so you guys can talk and play all day."
"Maybe you should look for her where Stefano is."
"Huh?"
"Calla told me that Stefano went on a vacation with his friends and that he's looking at all the different shapes the clouds make. He's also drinking his favourite drink!"
"And why do you think Calla is going to be there?"
"Because she loves him."
As he played with her hair, "And how do you know that?"
"Because I asked her if she missed him and she said yes and then I asked her if she loved him and she said yes. So, maybe she's with Stefano because she missed him too much."
