No one's POV
In an unknown location, Nhazul slowly started opening his eyes and then saw he was at school within the nurse's office and he looked around completely confused.
Nhazul: What the hell...? Why am I...?
School announcement: Class will be dismissed momentarily.
Nhazul: I don't get it...why am I here...why am I at school...? Is this a dream....?
Nhazul then stood up and walked out the door and started making his way down the hall and as he did, he heard the voice of Akira.
Akira's voice: I don't regret saving that woman from that man. I will never regret it. But at the same time, I wish that I wasn't punished for doing the right thing...
Nhazul: Akira...?
Nhazul then looked down the hall and saw a blue butterfly.
Nhazul: A butterfly...?
The blue butterfly started to fly down the hall, as if it were leading him somewhere and Nhazul decided to follow it and then started hearing the voices of Ryuji and Ann.
Ryuji's voice: Get awesome results at track meets alongside everyone else on the time and eventually I'll get a scholarship for college to make things easier for my mom....
Ann's voice: If that never happened, I would've got to enjoy my time in high school with Shiho...
As Nhazul continued to follow the blue butterfly, he then heard the voices of Makoto and Haru.
Makato's voice: My sister's been supporting the family. It's unrealistic to demand any more of her...
Haru's voice: I'm helping Okumura Foods grow. With my father watching over me...
Nhazul: Why...? Why am I hearing them...?
As Nhazul continued to follow the blue butterfly, it had led him to the school entrance and flew out the door and as Nhazul was about to follow it, a voiced called out to him.
???: Where are you going?
Nhazul: I'm leaving this place.
???: Leaving? But isn't this where you belong?
Nhazul: Where I belong? Who even are you?!
???: Hmm, I see...So you still haven't accepted it...
Nhazul: Accepted? Accepted what?
???: You'll see soon enough. But I won't force you into anything.
The doors then opened and Nhazul heard the voice.
???: Let's meet again...
Suddenly, Nhazul was blinded by a bright light and he then woke up in his bed.
Nhazul's thoughts: What was that...? Was that a dream...?
Nhazul then heard his phone ring and he saw it was Kasumi.
Kasumi: Good morning. Were you still asleep, Nhazul Senpai?
Nhazul: Oh, a no. I was just waking up...
Kasumi: Do you remember our promise, Senpai?
Nhazul: The one about the training?
Kasumi: Yes. But instead of training, I'd thought we'd go to pay our respects to the Shine together on New Year's Day?
Nhazul: Oh, sure.
Kasumi: Great! I realize this may be a bit forward of me, but...how about this afternoon?
