Raj and Sheetal Raichand – Taani's parents but hates her as she is their only child and after her birth Sheetal couldn't conceive again. Treats her like she is non-existent but gave her a good education hoping that she would atleast earn for them after she grows up and plans to get her married soon to a family, so that she won't be a burden on them anymore. They doesn't care of how the family would be but they just wish to marry her off to the first person they see.

Taani Raichand – Here comes our beautiful, sweet, loving soul. She is 21 years old and just completed her studies. Looking for a job now. She knows that her parents, in fact her whole family (extended too) hates her but wishes that someday they would accept her. She knows the reason of her hatred but feels helpless as she doesn't know where is her fault in all this. She is very hard working girl and had good values despite her parents being complete bastards. She still loves and respects them a lot and follows their every word like a command. Even though all the atrocities in her life, she still strongly believes in her Krishna ji and that he must have planned something nice for her. Believes in fairytales and wishes for a prince charming to come and take her away from her current life but then when she looks at the reality her belief weakens. Since childhood she is craving for love, she truly prays that wherever she marries, that family at least gives her the love she deserves. Would fall in love with Rey gradually as she would be insecure and in doubt about their relationship initially due to her bitter past. But he and his family would bring her out of her shell. Would be Singhania's princess and loved by all specially Rey. Her prince charming as she wishes.

Aashish Verma – Rey's best friend and business partner. One of the most eligible bachelors. Has a soft spot for Naina but never gave importance to his feelings because of his friendship with Rey. Loves his baby sister Taara a lot who is a very close friend of Sanskaar and studies in same college as him. Very protective for both Taara and Naina and in future Taani too. Will share a bro-sis bond with Taani.

Taara Verma – Aashish' s sister and his only family. They are rphans and her brother is everything for her. Loves Sanskaar a lot but never confessed due to his relationship with Vishakha. Will be Taani's close friend and is really close to Rey too who knows about her feelings for his brother but can't do anything due to his promise to Taara. She loves Rey a lot too as he is just like Aashish for her and really lifts her up when she feels sad regarding Sanskaar calling his brother idiot on not realising his feelings for such a 'doll' like her.

Swayam Shekhawat and Sharon Shekhawat – Rey's besties from college times. Really close to the whole Singhania family as they live alone in Mumbai while their family lives in Jodhpur. They even sometimes stay with the family as they are very close to all the Singhania siblings along with Aashish and Taara. Will play cupid in love story of taarey always helping Rey in his romantic endeavours. Will become Taani's besties too while Swayam would be protective towards her like a big brother. Both of them would help Taani come out of her shell and let Rey in her life without any fear.

Vishakha Mehra – Sanskaar's gf and college mate. Not very important in the story, just a side role but is a gold digger and doesn't really love Sanskaar. Is only after his fortune and money. Although she is Sanskaar's gf but she openly flirts with Rey trying to grab his attention which disgusts him a lot but he can't do anything as she donnes a perfect sweet girl image in front of Sanskaar.

ð There are no villains for now in the story as I want it to be a love story only filled with love and how a person fights with her insecurities and fears regarding life which is her enemy present inside of her.
Note : Although this is an arrange marriage story, don't expect old school romance and drama like movies Vivah or other arrange marriage stories, no offence to Vivah lovers, I absolutely adore that movie but I want it to be a modern love story depicting how arrange marriages are nowadays in modern times. Taani would be though sweet, innocent and shy but Rey won't be anything like the chocolate boy or a shy guy. He would be out spoken and open about his feelings and his desires, would respect elders but won't be a guy to follow someone blindly and would set everything on fire if any harm comes to his family. He would have faults of his own too which would be a major drawback in bringing Taani out of her insecurities. He would make mistakes and so would Taani but they would always be there for each other. He would be loving and caring and at the same time too passionate for her so please refrain from reading if you don't expect an arrange marriage story to turn like that.
