When you ask them to teach you something they know about

Someone said I was writing Husk as abusive (they deleted their message after I gave them a giant lecture as to why they are wrong which made me laugh.)

They claimed he's abusive because he doesn't show his love. Correction; he does, he just does not do it to the MC's face because that's not like him. He's also a grumpy 70 year old man so not as if he's jumping around to go to the carnival. He shows his love in subtle ways, like wrapping his wing around you when you sleep, teaching you how to play poker, doing things he doesn't like just to make you happy, cleaning up after you, listening to you ranting without complaining, giving you a drink when he sees you need it.

Just because he doesn't shout it to the world that he loves you, does NOT mean he does not love you, that simply means he isn't that type of person to do it like that. Not everyone in the world is all about giving flowers to their lovers and all that romantic stuff, some people just do it in subtle ways because that's what they are comfortable  with and it works for that couple.

Charlie:

She taught you how to act like royality since you had to go meet her mother and didn't wish to look like an idiot and make her mother think she's dating a bad lover. Charlie was more than happy to teach you, telling you fun childhood stories while she taught you. She was very patient, never rushing you or shouting when you got something wrong.

Vaggie:

When you got a new place and didn't have a clue how to fill in bills, she was happy to help you. She wasn't very patient, she tried to be, but seeing you struggle made her just take the paper and fill it in for you, explaining to you how to fill it in the next time or just come to her.

Cherri Bomb:

She was more than happy to teach you how to fight and throw a bomb and make it land where you want it to land. She was also happy to teach you about all the guns she owns, telling you which ammo goes with which and stories of how she got them.

Niffty:

She taught you how to clean the house of course. When she saw how dusty your furniture was, she was quick to pull out cleaning supplies, push it against you and begin instructing you. She wasn't exactly patient. When you took too longer, she groaned and did it very quickly, hurrying you up, saying there are many more rooms so don't spend one day cleaning one. When you told her you can't clean as quickly as her, she assured you after she's done teaching you, you will.

Angel Dust:

He wanted to teach you all the sex toys so you slapped the back of his head making him laugh and say he's joking. He taught you about the mafia business and guns. He wasn't excited to teach you about the mafia, but it was mostly because you did a bad mafia impression and he couldn't stand to see how bad/inaccurate it was any longer.

Alastor: (For those confused about the break-up prank chapter as to if he knew it was a prank, that was the point, I wrote it like that so you would question it, and it worked.)

He taught you how to dance and sing. So it were many days of dancing around the house, singing songs, just having some fun. He was very patient. Whenever you stepped on his foot, he just chuckled and told you again how to correctly do the step without stepping on his foot.

Husk:

When you asked him to teach you something he likes, he chuckled and said card games it is then. So he taught you how to play a few card games while sipping some beer. He was calm about this. He was a bit impatient but he knows learning a new card game can be hard so he didn't hurry you and just waited, giving you some useful advice, chuckling out some tips on how to cheat.

Sir Pentious:

You got bored so you asked him to teach you how to fix a machine. He looked at you with pure excitement before he hurried around the room, gathering supplies, stuttering out things while almost falling over an Egg Bois while hurrying to a broken machine. He was patient, very happy you wish to learn something he likes. When you get unsure, he will assure you you are doing good.
