I really need to say this because it's bother me; if your partner dislikes something you like, don't do it to them just because "they said they don't want it/dislike it so now I have to do it", insult them for it, or ignore them for it, that's not funny or "quirky" or anything like that, that's just plain rude and disrespectful.

That would be like you telling your partner you dislike something and them then doing it, insulting you for it, or just ignoring you. You wouldn't like it, so don't do it to your partner.

Everyone has different likes and dislikes, just because your partner doesn't have the same likes and/or dislikes as you doesn't mean they suddenly have to change it and like and dislike the same thing as you, that's not how relationships work. You respect each other's opinions and yes, you can try to encourage them to try it again or try it with you so they can see what they think about it now, but don't force your partner to like something you like or put them down for it.

(Before anyone says those comments were just jokes, I know half of them were, yes, but half of them were serious and clearly some of you just need to be told how to treat your partner in a relationship.)

Charlie:

When she saw you approaching the house through the window, she let out an excited squeal and rushed to the front door, swinging it open so hard it slammed against the wall but she didn't care. She ran to you, happily yelling your name before jumping into your arms, holding you tightly and tears rolling down her face. When you asked why she's sad, she laughed out they are happy tears and she missed you so much. Once she calmed down, she asked you if you are okay and if the battle is finally over.

Vaggie:

She was stressed from work, sighing as she sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed her head, wondering when you will already come back home. When suddenly she heard movement of the blanket before feeling arms wrap around her waist, she let out a shocked yell and quickly got up, pulling the arms off and stared at the person before glaring, asking how long you have been there. When you tiredly mumbled three hours, she glared and asked if you have been here three hours and didn't even bother to tell her, to which you told her you were asleep for that long since you finally had time to get some proper sleep. She just hit your shoulder, telling you to at least have greeted her before sleeping. She asked you if you are okay, needing to know if you have any injuries and if you do if she has to treat them. Once you answered it, she let you go back to sleep while she laid aside you, happy you are finally back.

Cherri Bomb:

She was just finished exploding some stuff when she heard footsteps behind her. As she was getting ready to make a new bomb, she suddenly heard your voice asking her if she's at it again with the bombs. She was quick to stare before grinning and running to you, wrapping her arms around you tightly and giving you a kiss before excitedly asking if you are finally home again for good. When you nod and said the battle is over, she was very happy. She took your hand and both walked home, her asking questions on the way like how it went and if you gotten badly injured.

Niffty:

She ran around you, excitedly asking questions, only to glare and hit you softly, asking if you couldn't at least first change out your dirty and blood-covered clothes before coming home. When you said you were in such a hurry to come see her you forgot, she felt her face heat up before she giggled she will forgive you this once then.

Angel Dust:

When you entered the room, he tossed Fat Nuggets to the side, the poor piggy almost falling off the bed, before he ran to you and jumped into your arms, starting a make out session with you before happily saying he missed you so much and asking a bunch of questions, excited to hear how it went. When you asked if you can at least sit down first, he was quick to pull away and push you to the bed, saying you must be tired so rest. As you laid comfortable, he crawled aside you and cuddled your side, happy to be able to hold you again.

Alastor:

He didn't miss you. Why? Because he visited almost every day. While you were fighting, he would randomly pop in to tell you some stuff going on back home or just asking what you would like for dinner when you come back home. So when you came back home, he had the dinner you wanted ready and didn't really need to ask anything because he already knew everything since he was usually there to witness it.

Husk:

He was drunk when you came back so he thought you were just some hallucination, eyeing the beer bottles, wondering how much he drank that he's beginning to see things. When you told him it's the real you and you are back, he frowned before chuckling and drunkly opening his arms, his wings also opening, drunkly muttering to give him a hug. As you wrapped your arms around him, he nuzzled his face against your neck, muttering that he missed you. The next day, he held his head as he had a hangover, asking you how long you been back and how it went.

Sir Pentious:

He really wanted to join the battle but you told him not to come so he jut stayed, pouting while mumbling to his hat that it isn't fair and he also wanted to join. When you came back, he had a mixed reaction. Pulling you into his arms, so happy to see you, before pushing you away with a jealous huff, asking if it was fun. When you assured him you will bring him along to the next battle, he gave you a side-glance before grinning and excitedly asking if you won.
