When you try your best but don't succeed

I was informed that the previous chapter was already written. I felt like a true idiot when I found out. Anyways, now my question is; should I delete the previous (or the old) chapter since it's basically the same as the old one or is it fine if I just leave it in? I'm asking because I'm not sure what to do with the chapter now.

Charlie:

That's how she feels with her hotel now but she keeps her hope up, sure it will succeed eventually, so she assured you you have to keep motivated and you will succeed one day, but it just takes a lot of patience and sometimes failing is part of becoming successful.

Vaggie:

She assured you it's okay and you shouldn't take this failing in succeeding as something bad but as a learning experience. If you feel like crying about it, she will lend you her shoulder to cry on, comforting you as you cry and complained to her about how unfair it is because you tried your best and somehow still failed.

Cherri Bomb:

When she saw your sad expression, she immediately knew you didn't succeed so she gave you a hug and told you did your best and she's proud of you. She told you not to let this stop your hard work because you are doing an amazing job, even if you did not succeed, you did your best and that was very amazing of you and inspiring.

Niffty:

She angrily asked if someone ruined you succeeding, getting a broom ready to attack the person with. As you explained what happened and tears formed, she handed you a tissue and listened to you, giving you this sad expression, feeling sad for you that you failed in this thing you tried so hard for.

Angel Dust:

He's not good at comforting people so he wasn't sure what to say when you told him about it. He couldn't help the little "euhm" that came out as he was trying really hard to think of what to say before he awkwardly asked if you can't try again. As you talked, he picked up Fat Nuggets and handed him to you.

Alastor:

If a test or someone failed you, he will go and make sure the next day you get a message that lets you know you have succeeded. When you ask him what he did, he will just smile and say he did nothing and it was all your hard work.

Husk:

He will listen to you as you talk about it before he assured you you did your best and that's usually all that counts. He's not good at comforting someone so he's not sure what he had to say to help you, but he hopes what he said somehow helps you feel a bit better.

Sir Pentious:

He was quick to tell some Egg Bois to get you stuff you like before he asked you if someone failed you, ready to get a gun and go pay them a visit. As you told him about it, he wrapped his body around you and held you, giving you these sympathetic eyes while his hat looked sad for you.
