Trent stands a bit closer, but still next to me. "Trent" I quietly warn him. "Obviously she does not want you there" Trent tells the guy again. But this time, he gets up and stands chest to chest with Trent. "Mind your own business  buddy" the male says as he does that weird challenging stand. Nobody dares to do anything, but watch. "I will say it again, the lady said to leave her alone" Trent says, still standing his ground.

The male figure tries to get even closer, and then takes a swing. This is my cue to back up incase it escalates further. The two start fist fighting, I just watch in a slight corner. Trent gets the upper hand and ends on the top of the guy. He pins him down, the male breathing heavily; like he has had enough. "Leave the women alone" Trent says in between breathes. The other guy doesn't say anything, so Trent gets off him. He watches the male, he then said his apologize and walks out.

Trent looks around, somewhat huffing. He then comes back to me, gently sliding a hand on my hip. Suddenly acting even more protective. We then pay and leave. On our way home, nobody says anything. "Are you okay?" I ask, still trying to process everything. I have never seen Trent fight like that before. He takes a moment to answer back. "Yes, but somewhat tired" he explains. I look out the window, understanding.

We both get back into the house, Trent goes into the living room and I go get changed. After a while, this dress gets uncomfortable. I change slowly, still processing the situation. I knew things like this would come up, but because I have never seen him in action before; it's just going to take some getting used to. "Ali?" I hear Trent calling from downstairs. "Yeah?" I call back. A few seconds pass by, I still don't hear anything.

I clean up the bed and head downstairs. I look around the house, still not seeing him. I have went around half the house, now I am on guard. I grab a chief knife, holding it with white knuckles. Trent then suddenly comes around the corner. I hold the knife up, ready to attack at any second. He puts his hands up, leaning his body away. I close my eyes and let out a sigh that I had no idea I was holding in. "Alison" Trent drags out, pushing my hand down. "I'm sorry, I could not find you. I went halfway around the house, so then I thought something happened. So I took a hold of this incase" I explain.

He nods but takes the knife away. He puts it on the counter and puts both hands just below my shoulder. "Nothing has happened. I am okay" I nod again. "Are you okay?" he asks. I look at him. "Yeah, just still processing everything". "I understand that, but you do know that I had to do something. I could not just stand there and do nothing" Trent explains again. I nod. I look at the clock on the wall, before looking at Trent.

"I think we should get the girls" I tell him, he nods and I get my keys. "I'll get them, you wanna get something for them to do? You know they'll want something to do with daddy" I explain, giggling. He rolls his eyes but does it anyways. "Love you!" I say loud enough for him to hear me in the other room. "Love you too" he says back. I shut the door and head to my car. Suddenly, something goes over my mouth. I can tell by the texture that it's a cloth of some sort.

I doze off but can feel myself being dragged. Later on, I wake up in a room I don't recall. I look around frantically. The door then opens, a guy in a mask comes in. To close for comfort. He then takes a phone out of his pocket. I watch him closely, not daring to take my eyes off him. "Hello Ranger Trent. Remember me? You're the ranger that arrested my friend, now for payback; I have somebody that is important to you" the male says as he turns the phone my way.

I look at the phone, he's calling. I look up at the male confused, wait a minute. I then get a gun pointed to my head. I don't move, "Trent, please help" I say quietly. The male hangs up, then leaves the room. I then start to think. "Trent told me about somebody threatining him because he arrested a friend of somebodies and they got mad at him for that" I said to myself.

-Third person POV-

Trent waits for his wife and two little girls. As he prepares for the girls' arrival, it gets later and later. This worries him. He looks at his phone, "They should be back by now" he says as he thinks of what could be holding them up. He gives them another hour, but they still are not back.

Trent then calls his mom. "Hey mom, did Ali get the girls already?" he asks. The answer he gets, is one that deathly worries him. As his mom explains that his daughters are still there, he feels his stomach turn and everything go dull. Trent goes as white as a ghost. "I don't know where Ali is, she is not answering her phone either" he explains to his mother. Dragging his hand along his mouth, he starts to worry.

"Give her a little more time. She might be stuck in traffic" his mom tells him.. Trent doesn't think so, but tries to not jump to any conclusion. "I'm just worried" Trent admits. "I had somebody threaten me" he explains. Now his mother understands, but still tells him to give her time. He agrees and they both hang up, his mom agreeing to have the girls a bit longer.

Trent goes up into his and Ali's room, he tries not to fall asleep but passes out. He wakes to his alarm. Trent quickly grabs a hold of his phone, checking the time. 5am. He sighs as he looks over to the other side of the bed. Empty. Ali had not returned home that night. Trent suddenly gets up quickly, getting dressed as fast as he can while calling his wife numerus  times. Leaving her a few voicemails, he gets ready for work anyways.

Trent gets into his car, giving Ali one last call. Still no answer. Still not giving up, he focuses on driving to work. At work, he sees his fellow comrades in the office. "Gee Trent, you look like you didn't sleep" one says. Trent ignores the statement. Then, one of the highest ranked rangers stop him, he gently places a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay Trent?" he asks, as he was about to answer; Trent felt his phone going off. He takes the phone out of his pocket, seeing he has a voicemail from an unknown caller.

He listens to it, putting it to his ear. As Trent listens, his eyes get teary. When he hears the very end, anger fills inside him. Trent hangs up, puts the phone away and turns around; punching the nearest desk.
