The 3 stood up from their seats and greeted us with a smile. The one at the centre stared at me with his cat like eyes before extending his hand.
"Excuse us for our rudeness, My name is Kozume Kenma and these two beside me are Azumane Asahi and Yachi Hitoka."
"Nice to meet you both, Hitoka-chan and I used to be on the same team as your dads'."
I shook Kozume-san's hand and turned towards Yuki who made his way to an empty couch.
"A small world ain't it?"
A small grunt came out of Yuki as slouched himself on the couch, finding a comfortable position. Shooing me away with his hand.
"I get the gist of it, so you discuss it with them, I'll do what you do. I'm sleeping."
What he meant was. 'I'm too tired, you deal with it.'
Li Wei shook his head in slight disbelief at the sight. Honestly, if I hadn't known of Yukis' antics I would be too.
However, the god of mischief incarnate who was standing next to his father was trying to hold back his smile. Out of us three, he probably found Yuki's decision to sleep at during this situation the most entertaining.
Kozume-san lets out a faint chuckle and assured me that we could simply let Yuki rest as we discuss the details.

"So what you're trying to say is, you're trying to build a team of young and good looking volleyball players who'll sell really well."
At my words, Yachi-san who was drinking her cup of iced coffee coughed uncontrollably.
"Well, I guess you can put it that way," Kozume cat-like eyes narrowed with his smile.
Azumane-san looked a little flustered as he heard Kozume-san's honest remark. He quickly cleared his throat and explained.
"What we're trying to do is to maximise efficiency. It's like a two in one combo. Models and Athletes. If you do really well we might even start a variety show starring the group itself. In terms of profits it'll no doubt sell."
"Moreover, this is partially due to the youth-pro cup. For young athletes like you, it's a competition to gain experience and show off your skills for merit. Of course the company gain certain benefits from this too."
The benefit they're talking about is probably the athlete trade system and popularity based mechanism. It seems like trading players are commonly done after the youth pro-cup depending on their skill. Naturally, talented young athletes are highly sought out by professional teams. In other words, to be successful is one has to be a ruby in a pile of diamonds.
On the other hand, how popularly works is that it is closely linked to their stocks. More fans equals to more things to sell. Selling merchandise of their popular players is very lucrative. It's one of the reasons why football was a very lucrative sport.
I sat there silently before opening my mouth.
"Not to bring you down or anything but Volleyball isn't as popular as football, to snatch a bunch of fans out of nowhere is a little bit dreamy. The cons are pretty huge."
Kozume-san lets out another one of his chuckles. As if he found what I said funny.
"If it's fans, I got plenty, promoting the team shouldn't be too hard. Volleyball may not be on par with football in terms of popularity, however it's your job to change that."
Mark clasped his hands and grinned ear to ear. Strangely, I could see vibrant flowers falling around him.
"This is where making us models would take part! We could also participate in variety shows to increase our popularity and gain fans from all over the world to watch us play, what do you call it? Butterly effect? Thinking of all the fans have enjoy volleyball because of us makes me shiver in excitement!"
"Kowai. You're creepy," I scooted myself a little further from him.
"I wouldn't be surprise if this idea came from you," I half-joked.
"Oh it was!"Mark replied in a genuine tone.
I turned to look at Li Wei for confirmation but a nod from him was enough to make be believe.
"So he was the one who dragged you into it huh? You're most likely victim number 1."
"That make's you and Yuki Victim 2 and 3," Li Wei joked.
"At least we're on the same boat," I laughed.
"Agreed."
"Why does it seem like you're making me the villain? You're both exaggerating," Mark pouted.
"Looks like it's decided!" Kozume-san exclaimed, showing no concern over the pouting Mark and nodded his head at Yachi.
Yachi stood up, took out an agreement and placed it infront of me and another for Yuki.
"My mom told me not to sign anything recklessly," Yuki yawned as he woke up from his slumber.
"Are you serious? After all that," I looked at him with a frown.
"Plus we don't seem to have enough members. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how many players we need in a team do I?"
"That's a problem can could be fix with time," Yachi-san convinced.
I looked through the agreement once more and compared mine with Yuki's just incase anything was different before signing it.
"So you've signed it." An annoyed grunt came out of Yuki but he signed his anyways. Muttering something about wanting to drink some milk.
"I can't say no to extra income, plus it's not that bad," I shrugged.
The agreement was favourable to us, other than the fact that we had to do some chores. Receiving special training and resources as well as personal training grounds and that was only one of the many incentives.
Moreover, to someone like Yuki and I, all we cared about was to be able to play. If we were going to be benched after doing a bunch of inconvenient stuff, we would probably walked out immediately.
"When do we start?" I asked.

Note:
Hello there! A very very long time no see. My writing style may change a little bit.. probably a lot.
_:('ཀ'」 ∠):I feel extremely guilty for not updating for quite sometime, as I too know the feeling of wanting to read the next chapter of a book which has not updated for quite sometime.
So ya gotta thank my guilty conscience for giving you this chapter. ('°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
I won't make excuses as I've been procrastinating and a little run out of ideas.
