CHAPTER 7 - Youth pro-cup (1)
Before leaving the auditorium for our classes, we were approached by Coach Ukai and The supervisor, Takeda-sensei. Receiving attention from other members.
"As you already know who we are. Do you mind if I ask for your names?" Coach Ukai slyly smiled.
I looked at Yuki and gestured at him to reply first. He sighed but complied.
"Kageyama Yuki."
"Hinata Kaito."
They looked at each other bewildered. The coach quickly regains his composure before starting a conversation.
"I know that it's still early but would you like to join the youth pro-cup?" Coach Ukai glanced at me before turning his attention to Yuki.
"The selection test will start next week in Tokyo, if you're interested you can ask me and I'd gladly help you apply for it with my recommendation," He added.
"As for you, get yourself treated, an injury is still an injury no matter how mild or severe," Coach Ukai advised.
"Thank you for your consideration. Please give me some time to think about it," Yuki bowed respectfully.
"Y-yes," I shuttered as my face flushed in embarrassment. Was the injury at obvious?
The coach waved him off before walking away.
"Kageyama and Hinata. Do you think?" Takeda immediately saw an oddly hair-raising look on Coach Ukai's face but choose to remain silent as it's been a while since he saw the look on his face. Excitement, curiosity and hope.
"Why didn't you agree? It sounded interesting," I gave him a puzzled look.
"We planned to play with each other since we were kids and I'm planning to go through with the plan no matter the circumstances," Yuki answered. "That's why you oughta get stronger so that you stop getting injured," Yuki playfully provoked.
"Hmph. You're being cheeky just cuz you've been playing indoor for most of your life. I'd feel great if I could beat you up in outdoor," I childishly retorted.
"Just you wait. I'll get soo strong that you wouldn't be able to keep up," I declared.
"Good luck with that," Yuki snorted and walked in front of me.
"I'm not blaming the floor but I blame the floor," I grumbled. "I miss the sand," I pouted.
Yuki abruptly stopped.
"What's that for?" I frowned.
"Milk," Yuki put in some money into the vending machine and bought four cartons.
"Let's go look for our class," Yuki poked his straw into the milk carton and placed the extra milk cartons into his bag.

"Thankfully it's only a minor sprain," Yuki sighed in relief as he wrapped the bandage around my ankles. "But a sprain nonetheless."
"That should be sufficient," I quickly stopped Yuki from wrapping my ankle like a mummy.
"Here take these." Yuki popped out two pills from its package and handed it to me with a glass of water. I quickly put it in my mouth and gulp it down.
"You know. You shouldn't just shove anything given to you into your mouth," Yuki frown in disbelief and massaged his forehead.
I ignored him and stood up. Feeling the pain momentarily reduced.
"Let's get another cab. Actually, can we take the train?" I suggested.
Yuki's frown deepens even further. Using his eyes to point towards my injury.
"The cab it is," I quickly avoided his gaze and walked out the infirmary.
On the way to the school's entrance, we were stopped by two familiar faces.
"What are you guys still doing here?" I asked. I was sure that school was over half an hour ago.
"To pick you up of course," Mark suspiciously clasped his hands.
"Why?" I asked as Yuki stared at him with an unreadable expression.
He's probably feeling sceptical. It's only natural since a random person ask you to follow them.
"You'll see. You'll see." Mark quickly shoved us both into a black car.
"Talk about Shady," Yuki grumbled.
Li Wei got into the car and looked at us with a bitter smile.
"I'll just be blunt. My dad is planning to work with another company to start their own clothing brand," Mark grinned as he gestured with his hands for the driver to drive.
"What does that have to do with us?" Yuki cautiously asked.
"We're in need of young models and we'd like them to be as diverse as possible. Thankfully we met you guys!" Mark beamed in excitement. "For the other reason, you'll see," This time, Mark had a cheeky grin.
Yuki and I looked at him in disbelief.
"It's this considered kidnapping at this point? He's not even asking for our opinion," Yuki blurted out, completely taken aback.
His words were ignored by Mark but were understood by Li Wei.
"Mark did this to me back when our parents were working together in Hong Kong," The air around Li Wei rapidly becomes gloomy as he remembers the past.
The car finally stopped and we were escorted into a luxurious condominium.
We were sent to the top floor where two men and a woman sat on the leather chairs discussing things with each other.
"Hey dad, Uncle," Mark greeted with his cheerful voice.
"Asahi, sometimes I wonder how you both are related," The man with a man-bun looked between the timid man and his outgoing son and shook his head.
"Asahi-senpai has always been like this," A blond-haired woman chuckled at Asahi's dismay.
"Hello Mom," Li Wei respectfully greeted.
The three people greeted Mark and Li Wei before finally turning towards our direction.
The stared at us and gasped in shock.
"Is there something wrong with our face? People have been looking at us like it's the first time they saw a person," Yuki started to grab his jaw and looked at his reflection through the mirror on the wall.
"Is there something wrong? Dad, Aunt and Uncle?" Mark furrowed his eyebrows. He was sure the models he handpicked were of high quality. He took his time and re-examined our facial features and decided on his own that nothing was amiss.
"I don't see anything wrong with my face? Maybe it's yours," Yuki's narcissistic side started to reveal itself. "There's nothing wrong with mine either," I pouted.
"Shoyou's and Kageyama's kid?"
"Hinata and Kageyama's son?"
"Shoyou and Tobio's son?"
"You know my dad?" Yuki and I questioned simultaneously.
