Chapter Four : Like

There was nothing soft about the kiss. It wasn't like the first time. They weren't shy or careful, they just wanted to feel the other as much as possible. Jungkook tightened his grip on the others waist. When Taehyung let out a soft moan he took the opportunity to let his tongue explore the others mouth. The olders hands travelled to Jungkooks hair as he tilted his head to let Jungkook deepen the kiss.

»More«, Taehyung begged in a shaky voice as they both took a deep breath. Jungkook complied, letting his mouth wander to Taes jaw line and leaving little kisses on the others neck. When he opened his eyes it was like a haze. But he did realize that the door was open and someone stood there. When his view cleared he stopped immediately, frozen like a statue. He took his hands off Taehyung like he burnt himself. Taehyung looked at the other with confusion but Jungkook didn't even look at him. All he saw was the tears that streamed down his girlfriends cheeks.

»Haneul..«, he whispered.

»So I was right? God, I felt that there was something between you two but I tried to ignore it. You know why? Because I trusted you. I trusted you and you do such things behind my back«, she sobbed while the tears kept streaming down her face. When he tried to say something, she raised her hand, signaling him to keep his mouth shut.

Haneul breathed three times in and out before she stood straight, looking in his eyes as she said: »I love you. I've always loved you. So if it was just a kiss, just this one time I can forget it. I forgive you. Just say that you still love me and we can go back, ignoring this mistake.«
She gave him a chance, so all he had to do was to say that it was just one time, that he didn't feel anything, that he still loves her. But he couldn't, because it would be a lie. So instead he muttered:

»I'm sorry, Haneul. But you already know I can't say it, because..because I have feelings for him.«

He expected her to cry harder, slap him in the face (what he deserved) but all she did was sighing. »Yes, I thought so«, her eyes wandered to Taehyung, filled with hatred. »I hope for you that it was worth it. Two boyfriends? In this industry? In this country? In one band? Good luck.« She leaned down to the floor and picked up her phone. »I forgot that«, she said as she showed her phone. »I hope I never see you again«, were the last words she uttered before she left and closed the door.

He felt bad. It's not like he didn't loved her. They were a couple for 6 months but in the last few weeks he knew that she wasn't the only one on his mind.

»Kookie..«, he heard his name from behind. Only then did he realize what he said. Because I have feelings for him.

His heart was beating so much that it wasn't healthy for his health. It seemed like everything happened in slow motion - how Jungkook turned around and looked into Taehyungs captivating eyes. The older ones look was too piercing, Jungkook had to look down. At least he intended to, but Taehyung was cupping his cheeks. »Look at me«, he demanded, »because I also have something to say.«

Jungkooks throat tightened. He wasn't sure if he wanted to hear what the other had to say. Yes, they've kissed. Yes, he saw Taes look but does he feel the same? Or was Jungkook still his dongsaeng? Did he only-

»I also have feelings for you. I like you, Jeon Jungkook. More than a friend.«

All the worries, he had only a few seconds ago, evaporated. A small smile formed on his lips.

Maybe it was too fast. Maybe they were too fast. Maybe he should not just jump right into this after just breaking up with his girlfriend. But something in his heart told him that it isn't too fast, it told him that he finally arrived.

So when Taehyung uttered »Why don't you kiss me?« he did and there was nobody who could stop him.
