I sat up in my bed, my heart pounding in my chest. My whole body shook from nerves, and I was panting, trying to get a breath in while choking on a scream. A groan escaped my lips while I lay back down in my bed and rubbed my eyes while I tried to wake myself up.
"I see that you are awake. Shall I just make coffee in your room, Ms. King?" a robotic voice asked.
I groaned again before huffing. "I thought I told you to call me, 'Ms. Kent' and not call me by that bastard's last name," I said. I moved my copper colored hair out of my face, grimacing at the sweaty feeling. "What time is it, Travis?" I asked the automated voice that looked after the whole house.
"It is 9:30 am, Ms. Kent," Travis said. "I-"
"What?!" I exclaimed, sitting up in bed so fast that I got a bit dizzy. I leaned towards my alarm clock and saw the red numbers flashing "9:30." "Shit!" I said, struggling to get out of my covers. "Oof," I groaned, falling out of the bed and onto the wooden floor. "Why didn't you let my alarm clock wake me up?" I asked, struggling to get out of the blankets. "I'm so late."
"I already told Mr. Kent that you would be late," Travis replied while I tossed the blankets back onto the bed and made my way to my closet. "You have been having that nightmare again, and you have been screaming and yelling all night."
"That doesn't mean you should stop my alarm clock from waking me up," I said sarcastically. I reached for the handle to the closet and was shocked. I yelped and jerked my hand back before I glared at one of the spaces where a camera sat. "What the fuck was that for?" I asked, shaking my hand and grimacing.
"Mr. Kent told you to take a shower when you were awake before you got dressed," Travis said, sounding smug, and I rolled my eyes and scowled. "Don't worry; I shocked him when he went to his office, knowing that you would want me to do that."
I ran to the bathroom, almost tripping over some shoes that I had left in the middle of the room. I opened the door, went in, and was about to close it when I thought of something. "You are the best," I said before shutting the door.
My bathroom and closet were the only places that Travis didn't have access to. I wanted to say that it was because Robbie, Mr. Kent, didn't want anyone to see what I looked like naked if someone hacked into Travis, but I knew it was the fact that Robbie, himself, didn't want to see me naked.
I shook my head out of the depressing thoughts and hopped into the shower. I tried to let the thoughts and feelings I had about him go down the drain, but they kept whirling around my mind and not letting me have a moment of peace.

Brown hair streaked with blonde bounced my way. Two steely gray eyes met my blue. An evil look was in her eyes, and I didn't like it one bit. Her full lips were pulled into a smirk as she took in my attire. "I see that you are still here," she all but purred, walking around me. "How are you, Mitten?"
"It's Kit, and I will be good if you decide to leave again," I said. I hated how she made me feel as if I wasn't good enough. I didn't need her to make me feel that way because I already felt like it. "I'm still not letting you see Mr. Kent."
"That's fine; I can just wait until the evening." She leaned forward and sneered. "He likes me better than you."
I bit my tongue, holding back what I wanted to say. "Your clothes are all cleaned and in the hall bathroom. You may change in there and be on your way."
"And if I say no? You can't force me yourself." She stalked around me before getting into my face.
My phone vibrated in my pocket while I backed up a bit. A smile appeared on my lips when I saw the words 'sic 'em' from Robbie. I knew that Travis wouldn't send me the message himself if he hadn't shown what was going on to Robbie. "Please, leave the premises, Ms. Weston," I said, stuffing my phone into my pocket. I moved into her space, hating the fact that I was 5'6 while she was 6'0. "This is your last chance."
Ms. Weston patted her chin, smirking. "Hmmmm. How about no?" she asked. "I don't think you can make me yourself." Her head went back when I punched her in the nose. She instantly clutched her nose and stared at me in shock. "My nose!" she exclaimed. She blinked back some fake tears, and I rolled my eyes. "You broke my nose."
"I'll break your nose if you don't get out," I said, lifting my chin in defiance. "Now, be a dear and let the door close on your way out. I'll have someone mail your clothes to you."
"You aren't getting back this shirt," Ms. Weston. She knocked the clipboard out of my hands before stomping towards the front door. A yelp escaped her lips when she touched the doorknob, and it shocked her. She turned to look back at me and glared as if I had done it on purpose.
I shrugged my shoulder and smiled, silently thanking Travis for shocking her.
She glared one last time before opening the door, walking out, and slamming it shut behind her.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding out and relaxed. "Oh, I hate her," I muttered, moving a hand through my hair. "I hope that is the last time that I see her skanky face." I picked up my clipboard and made my way to Robbie.
