Narrator's POV

The next months were filled with happiness. Y/N would quickly eat lunch and disappear to go play with Pairo and Kurapika. They played tag, race and hide and seek. Sometimes, they would read books under trees to each other. They all became really close friends. It was a really fun time but soon, Kurapika needed to go find a medicine for Pairo's eyes.

While Kurapika was away, Pairo and Y/N played without Kurapika. They felt something was missing most of the time.

One day, before leaving to go back to her mansion, Y/N yelled to Pairo, "Tomorrow's the day Kurapika comes back with your medicine right? Let's all play like good times!"

"Yes!"

Little did they know that was the last thing Y/N had ever said to Pairo ever again. That night, the Phantom Troupe attacked the Kurta clan.

Y/N was getting ready to go to sleep when she heard screams. She tried running outside but a maid had stopped her.

"Young lady! Where are going at the middle of the night!" A maid had blocked her way.

"LET ME GO! KURAPIKA AND PAIRO! I HEARD SCREAMS WHATS HAPPENING OVER THERE!"

"Kurapika? Pairo? Who's that? What are you talking about?"

"MY FRIENDS LET ME GO!" Y/N finally got past her maid.

Y/N heard the maid talk into her walkie talkie for the guards to take Y/N. Something about Y/N being crazy.

Guards came to Y/N before she got past the bush and they captured her.

"Master what's wrong?"

"LET ME GO OR AT LEAST HELP ME FIND OUT WHATS HAPPENING! ILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING, ILL CONFESS EVERYTHING LATER HELP ME RIGHT NOW!"

"Alright, what do you need help on, master?"

"MY FRIENDS THAT LIVED CLOSE TO THE SCREAMINGS HELP THEM I KNOW SOMETHING MUST HAVE HAPPENED NO ONE SCREMS LIKE THAT GO HELP THEM!"

"Yes, master."

"TAKE ME WITH YOU TOO!"

"I'm afraid we cannot, master. It's your father's order to keep you safe. That means if something is happening you could be in danger so we suggest you stay in your room until we come back."

"WHAT?!? UGH THEN GO IT COULD BE TOO LATE IF YOU KEEP STANDING THERE TALKING TO ME!"

"Yess, ma'am." And just like that the guards handed Y/N to the maid and they left.

Y/N was panting so hard. She had never yelled so loud in her entire life. Tears were streaming down her face. Her mind raced with awful thoughts.

"What if they all died? Will I ever see Pairo again? What about Kurapika? Kurapika shouldn't be here until tomorrow so he should be safe, right? What if he came early? What if they all died? What if they got captured but mafias?"

"Young lady, what are mumbling about? Oh goodness! You're crying! What's wrong?"

Y/N wiped her tears off her face and ran towards the bush.
