It's been months since the massacre. Almost everyone knows about it now. It was all over the news and the mafia is trying to find the Phantom Troupe. A lot of reporters tried talking to me, getting information but I never answered them. It seems ever since the massacre happened, father has been more protective of me.

I can never go outside, I always have at least 3 maids with me at all times, and I've been given knife throwing and self defense lessons. I'm really good at knife throwing but what I really want to do it learn nen. Then I can capture the Phantom Troupe. I would need to get my Hunter License first, though.

I've planned everything out. I'll get my Hunter License, master nen, and capture the Phantom Troupe. I thought of meeting up with Kurapika one day but, I can't face him. Ever since the massacre I kept having dreams of him. I let him down. Knowing him, if he saw me thinking this way he would have slapped me and scolded me to not think that way.

Today, I have a meeting with father. He told me something very important is going to happen today. I really hope it's that I can go outside now. I went to the dining room for dinner and, to my surprise, I saw an old man. I sat down and to eat.

I waited for father to explain the this big news is. Although, I already had an idea now that I thought of it. I prayed I wouldn't have to be engaged soon but it al previewed as my father announced us getting engaged.

I wanted to scream but, I was always taught to be a "lady" and sit still while an older man is speaking. If I broke that rule, my chances of getting more freedom will decrease.

My father explained everything, we would be engaged, our companies would merge, I would give birth a son, and then live the rest of my life as a stereotypical wife. Well, the last part father didn't mention but that's basically what would happen if I followed what I was supposed to do.

I went back to my room and almost threw up. That man, Ronald that I'm engaged to, is disgusting. He had a bushy beard, bushy mustache, bushy eyebrows, he even tried to seduce me! A 15 year old what the fvck!

It's like everyone around me lives in the 1890s! I mean, who does arranges marriages in this day in age? Also, that Ronald is an awful person. I've read secret articles about him, he's been in so many scandles.

I just don't have bough proof to show father. I'll need my Hunter License to get access into more articles. That's another reason I need the Hunter License! I think the hunter exam begins soon! I'll have to sneak out. I've been planning this for months. I'll dress up as a boy so no one can recognize me.

That night, I packed everything I needed. I packed some money, a wig, some extra change of clothes, knifes and some water and food. I had to jump out my window because maids were outside my door.

I came outside swiftly. All that training paid off! I had no where to go so I decided to go to Neon's house. Neon has a nen ability where she can predict the future. She's always predicting her future so I'm guessing she knew I would come. She would surely let me in. Both of us were sort of close. We wouldn't see each other a lot but we would still have fun when we were with each other.

I nocked at the door and Neon surprisingly answered!

"I knew you're be here! Come in!" Neon whispered. "Also, put your wig on! If daddy finds out you're here he'll send you straight back home!"

"Okay." I quickly put on my wig. The wig was styled just like a boy's hair, it was (insert whatever colorful hair color you like). Neon led me to her room where we discussed my plan. The Hunter exam was tomorrow! I wouldn't get to stay with Neon here for long but I promised her I would come back after I passed and we would go shopping just like old times.
